OK. if I use my radar to lock on to a target, and then I fire a 27ET missile (thermal) can I remove the lock on the target and the missile will home onto the target, because its a thermal missile. thanks.

OK so I was reading a guide on the internet about how to fight BVR with the SU27. basically the guide said to forget BVR engagement because the SU27 missiles are crap ! how would you recommend me to fight BVR flying the SU27 ? the guide said I should fly low and use the mountains for cover? is it true to forget BVR with the SU27 ? Enable ECM? Use radar? many thanks.

hi so I am flying the SU-27. mission drone killer. I ignore the drones as I want to learn how to engage enemy fighters. so eventually I come across 2 f-16. I tell my wingman to engage 1 of the f-16 and I try to fight the other. I keep getting blown out of the sky !! I tried many things but no success. any ideas or help, greatly appreciated. Plus, in the real world the SU-27 is far superior than the F-16. so the mission should be easy...right? Plus is there a way to tell my wingman to separate away from my position, so I can see on the radar HDD which enemy is aimed at me or my wingman? I read the SU-27 manual and it says on page 95 that there is a radio command called open formation. I try to find it in game but I don't see it. many thanks.

hi, so I am playing the first mission of the SU27 campaign. I press the \ key to talk to the ATC. I select ATC then I get many different frequencies options. I have no idea which one to choose to talk to the ATC and ask for takeoff (for example). in truth I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to using radio commands. is there something I can read ( on the web ) to teach me ? many thanks.

I didn't understand what you wrote. Does HDD toggle simply show the HUD on the HDD??? Because I press the mode toggle and nothing happens on the HDD. Thanks.

hi, in the first tutorial lesson it says that I should turn on electrical power and then wait 3 minutes before I should move the plane (SU-27). is this true? need I wait 3 minutes? any info about starting up greatly appreciated. many thanks.

what do you mean, scanning and set the range yourself? I have to keep changing the setting until I see something? that could take a very long time, with so many distances and elevations? Plus, datalink... what does that mean? I am new at this so please be patient with me. many thanks.
