maybe I am missing something here ?? but if you use a Virtual reality headset, you can not see the keyboard or joystick ??? that for me means I must stick with traditional screens ?? what do you think ???

hi I am playing flaming cliffs 1. I have to put the game into compatibility mode ( windows XP sp 3 ), because in windows 7 64 bit the graphics are messed up. the Track IR doesn't work. both lights come on though. also even in normal windows 7, ( with messed up graphics ), the Track IR doesn't work ??? Track IR works great with all my other games. thanks.

you should know I am flying at a speed of 265. I have to fly fast to keep up with the Hind. I am playing the first mission of the first campaign. it's a simple follow the leader mission.

hi. I am playing black shark. the first mission. it's a simple follow the leader, no combat. so I am flying along nice and gentle, then the helicopter goes out of control and I crash. I am not using auto-pilot. this happens many times. what's up ?

I lock up a target with the shkval. then I press the 'automatic turn on target' button ( Q ). sometimes the black shark turns to the target, but sometimes not. Does the auto turn to target just point the helicopter in the general direction, OR, should it point the helicopter in the precise direction. so the helicopters 2 circles line up so I can fire the vikhr ATGM ? help. thanks.

ok, so i follow the leader. i then land at the base. do i need to shut down the aircraft ? do i need to order the leader to land to get 100 % ? what about the other later missions in the campaign. do i need to shutdown the helicopter in order to get 100 % ? any other info about getting 100 % in missions would be great. thanks so much.

OK so I am playing Black shark 1. I started the Campaign 'Deployment' started the first mission ' FAM Flight '. it's just a simple follow the waypoints mission. no weapons are loaded. I press the ' key and the game tells me I have completed 50 % of the mission. I take off and follow the waypoints and land at the base. I even shut down the helicopter. then I press the ' button and the game tells me I have still only finished 50 % of the mission. How do I get 100 % completed mission ? there are 4 landing areas and a big T on the ground ? help, thanks.

OK, so I pushed the ' button and the game told me that I completed the mission (single mission called BATTLE ) 100 % . then I landed and shut down the helicopter. then I exited from the mission. there was no message telling me that the mission was completed. how about when I complete a campaign mission ? will there be a message telling me the campaign mission was correctly finished ?

hi. I am playing black shark 1. I have started playing single missions, NOT the campaign. with one mission I have many targets to destroy. how will I know that the mission has been completed ? what do I have to do to correctly complete the mission ? destroy all targets ? land at airfield ? shutdown helicopter ? will the game automatically tell me I have correctly finished the mission ? what about when I play the campaign ? how will I know when the campaign mission has been correctly finished ? the same as the single mission requirements ? thanks.

how can I know if a target is an enemy or friend ? do I have to visually remember what friend or foe looks like ?

would like to know your type of battle tactics that you use. I am just starting DCS black shark. some one in another thread said he doesn't hover ever. but how can I locate, classify and attack targets without hovering ? and the manual says a still target is a dead target. how can I locate, classify and attack targets if I am busy flying left to right ? I need to point my nose straight at the target to engage !! also when I try to use rockets, like the S-8 KOM, it's very, very difficult to hit the target. does any one else have this problem ? any advice ? any info from you would be great.

OK, so I try to engage hover mode. but my nose goes high and my helicopter goes backwards. help ! thanks.

someone said that this Samsung TV (UA40HU7000) can't do full colour chroma over HDMI. what does that mean ? how will it affect my gaming experience ?

hi. I have seen a Samsung 40 inch 4K TV screen. should I buy it ? what would my gaming experience be like. I want to play Black Shark 2. I think I will have to connect my Nvidia GPU to the screen via HDMI cable. I was reading the manual. on the ADI there is an indicator that lets you know if you have the correct speed to arrive at the waypoint at the correct time. I wish there was a digital indicator on the HUD.

OK so i start a campaign, but i wish to tell the game that i want to cold start ( start the engines e.t.c. by myself ). i also want to set INU points. but i see no option to do these things. how do i set these things up ?
