I start the mission at the airfield, nothing with the ground crew works.

so I am playing black shark 2. when I talk to the ground crew they never respond. I even opened the door and nothing from the ground crew. I try to re-arm = nothing. I try to install NVG (night vision goggles) = nothing. i set the intercom source selector dial to HON (ground crew intercom). i never had this problem with black shark 1. I notice that the intercom source selector dial moves slightly to the left when I talk to the ground crew. do i need to play with the Radio frequency thumb wheels? the mission briefing informs me= Frequency QFE Nalchik 265 714.24 28.12 any ideas??

So I have an nvidia 1080. Why should I update my drivers? Faster performance? More stability.

hi. so I am playing the deployment campaign. playing a mission called Back to Teberda. I get to the target area and ask my wingman to engage but he keeps refusing to engage. then I use up all my missiles and get a score of 96. then I approach the target area and get shot down by targets that are hiding behind trees, so I cant see them to engage them. any ideas ? thanks.

hi. at the moment I am playing DCS black shark 2. but I soon want to start playing Flaming cliffs 3 or SU27. if I download multiple modules will it make my games crash ? I ask this , because before I was playing Black shark 1 (from DVD) and i then installed flaming cliffs 2 and my games all started to crash whilst playing. I use STEAM to download my games. anyone using multiple modules and experiencing problems ? thanks.

hi. so I am playing DCS black shark 2 downloaded from steam. when I launch the game a DCS world CD key comes up and it says I should write the CD key down or copy to clipboard. I copied to clipboard. then it says when the game asks me to enter the CD key I should enter it. I then play black shark 2. I have reached to the 3rd mission of the campaign and the game has never asked me to enter the DCS world CD key ??? why is that ? maybe because I copied to clipboard ??? help !

hi. I just installed DCS black shark 2. then I went to the control panel (in the game) and saved a control profile. I then tried to load the control profile. but it did not load. a message came and said 'file does not exist' I use to play black shark 1 and had no problems like this. any help ? thanks.

hi. I just did a new install for windows. then I installed the driver for the Saitek x52 pro. I can not remember if I installed the software for the x52 pro. when I look in the bottom right corner of windows I see the joystick icon and I can see the profile editor option. when I click on the icon I go to the programing software where I can program the joystick. does this mean I have installed all the correct driver and the correct software ? sorry if this is a dumb question.

hi. I plan to buy 2 Nvidia pascal titan X. to do SLI. I know DCS doesn't use SLI. so when I want to play DCS can I turn off the SLI and just use 1 card. (turn it off in the Nvidia control panel). also. what percentage of people have a problem with SLI with their other games ? 5 % or 10 % thanks

I do not want to install beta versions, only the official finished products. will the finished updates download and install automatically from STEAM ? thanks.

hi. I see there is a new HDMI 2.0b with the Nvidia 1080. what does HDMI 2.0b mean? how does it differ from HDMI 2.0 ? I ask this because I plan to connect my Nvidia GPU to a 4K 48 inch TV (Samsung). I may buy a 980 Ti now and connect it to a 4K 48 inch TV with HDMI 2.0 when the Nvidia 1080 Ti comes out, I plan to connect it to the same TV (only with HDMI 2.0) will the Nvidia 1080 Ti with HDMI 2.0b work with the 4K TV with HDMI 2.0 ? will it work with an old HDMI 2.0 cable ? should I wait for a 4K TV with HDMI 2.0b ??? another question- i have the HDMI 2.0 4K cable. will the Nvidia 1080 Ti ( HDMI 2.0b ) and a new 4K TV (with HDMI 2.0b) work with a cable that is only HDMI 2.0 ? do I need to buy a new HDMI 2.0b cable ? will they ever release a HDMI 2.0b cable ? thanks

thanks for your replies. the engine anti-ice switch has 2 positions. engine de-icing, and dust-protection. which one do I use? to prevent me from losing altitude at high altitude? any other info about switches ? thanks.
