hi. OK so I am flying along a very high mountain, around 4000. then lights start flashing and my helicopter loses a lot of altitude. I try many things but my helicopter keeps losing height and then crashes. this has happened many, many times. at the start of the mission I instruct the ground crew to use lightweight variants. they take off the rockets and leave 12 ATGM. I do this to reduce the weight of the helicopter. but still when I get to the mountains my helicopter loses height and crashes. any advice ? thanks.

hi. I want to tell all my wingmen (3 of them) to hold position. in the manual it says it is possible. I need to press \ then F1 then F8 (hold position) OK so I press \ then F1 but I never see the F8 option (to hold position) any ideas ? thanks.

hi. can someone please tell me how to use the HMS to lock enemies and kill them. at the moment I put the HMS over a target. then I press the 'uncage Shkval'. this this does not get a lock. it moves the shkval to where I pressed the 'uncage Shkval'. then I look at the Shkval, move the picture until the enemy is in the middle of the screen. then I press the 'lock button' and the 'TA' appears telling me I have a lock and can fire. Is that correct ?

hi. playing the Deployment campaign, (BS 1) mission 'on the other side'. during the mission an enemy helicopter shoots me out of the sky. how should I destroy this helicopter ? I see 2 options, (1) I ask my wingmen to 'engage bandits' or (2) I try to kill the enemy helicopter myself. how should I kill the enemy myself? use the Shkval and lock on to the target ( which I think will take too long a time because it moves slowly) or use the HMS to lock on to the enemy ? should I attack with cannon or Vikhr missiles ? step-by-step advice appreciated. thanks.

I wish to buy a new 4K 40 inch TV for DCS black shark 2. how is the response time of such a TV ? is there anything else I should think about concerning big TV screens ? is it acceptable for gaming? should I go for a dedicated PC screen ( 27 inch ) ? any info from gamers with 4K big TV screens welcome. thanks.

I am playing black shark 1 (from the DVD). soon I will install (from STEAM) black shark 2. are the key commands the same for black shark 1 and black shark 2 ? because I have created a SAITEK joystick profile, and need to know if the commands will work with black shark 2. e.g. in black shark 1 the ' o ' key uncages the Shkval. will it be the same in black shark 2 (from STEAM) ?

hi. I play black shark 1. then I installed flaming cliffs 2 and black shark computer game keeps crashing. does anyone else have this problem? in the future I want to play black shark 2 from steam. hi. I love black shark. very interesting. but.. I wish that you needed to ask the tower for permission to take off. I wish you needed to land to end a mission. hoping for ultra realism. to do all the things a real pilot has to do.

hi. I plan to buy a new 4K PC. I have a choice of buying a 4K TV screen or a real 4K gaming screen. for a 4K TV screen I will be using an HDMI cable. does it need to be an HDMI 2.0 cable? I have a choice of 2 cables. one has bandwidth of up to 10.2 Gbps. the other has 18 Gbps. will they both work ? what's the difference ?? what a cable with Ethernet included. what does that mean ? if I buy the real 4K gaming screen, I need a display port cable. what number or version should I get ? may want to use Nvidia G-sync. please let me know as much as possible about 4K cables and what is needed to play at 4K. thanks.

Hi Bitmaster. I am getting a 4K 40 inch TV. you said you need a displayport 1.4 cable ?? But most people say use an HDMI 2.0 cable connection with big 4K TV? I thought displayport was only used for NVidia g-sync. please explain.

Please tell us how to automatically slew the skhval to the target.

in the game you can send targets to wingmen using the data link, order wingmen to engage those targets. also you can automatic ingress to target. But you cant zoom the skhval automatically to a data linked target shown on the ABRIS ???

I know how to move the tracking gate and see it move on the ABRIS manually. but my question is this. is there an automatic way by pressing a button that will zoom the Shkval to the selected target on the ABRIS ? thanks.

hi. I know how to create targets with the data link. also wingmen can locate and identify targets, and they show on the ABRIS no problem. But, say I see a target ( e.g. vehicle ) on the ABRIS. is there a way to make the Shkval zoom to the target ? so I can attack it. If it's in the manual can you tell me which page, thanks.

hi. if I buy a 4K 40 inch TV screen to play Black shark 2 will I need to use Anti-Aliasing ? because I read on the web that with a 28 inch 4K PC screen you don't need A-A because the PPI is so high. right now I have a 22 inch PC screen ( resolution 1680 x 1050 ) and I need A-A to smooth the jagged edges.
