Hast du versuchst, deine Grafikeinstellungen runterzusetzen? Gerade Wasserqualität auf niedrig stellen oder dieses TFAA oder wie das heißt ausschalten? Ich würde an deiner Stelle erst versuchen, dein jetziges System so auszunutzen um ertragbare fps (20-50) zu bekommen. Das sollte, glaube ich schon möglich sein. Die Frage ist immer, was man sich erwartet. Welches Monitor Setup etc; welche Auflösung... Ich bekomme mit zwei Monitoren und ner Auflösung von 3800 x 1080 ca. 40fps wenn es gut läuft und es geht runter auf 18 wenn ich im Kampf bin. Muss dazusagen dass der zweite Monitor (neben einem 27" 1920 x 1080) nur die beiden MFDs exportiert und keine Spielgrafik enthält. Ich habe mir auch überlegt, die 7970 zu holen, aber es ist noch ertragbar und die nächste Generation wird die jetztige wieder vom Tisch hauen... das übliche Ding in der Pc Hardware Industrie. Wenn man das Geld hat, kann man sich gern eine HD7970 mit 3Gb holen oder ein vergleichbares Gerät. Nur ist die Frage: Nutzen / Aufwand noch im Rahmen? Rein Hardwaretechnisch rate ich bei der Preis / Leistung zur HD7970 im jetzigen Moment.

Hm, jetzt kenn ich mich auch nicht so mit der Programmierung aus, aber kann man nicht zB. bestimmte Bereiche der Grafik (bsp: Die Anzeigen der Instrumente) auf einem anderen Kern berechnen lassen? Ich hab wo gelesen, dass die wohl eine der fps bremsen sind. Sobek: Du meinst dass Multicore = komplette Neuprogrammierung bedeutet? Ich meine: inwieweit rechtfertigt eine Multikernauslegung den benötigten Aufwand. Bezogen auf EDGE: Neue Engine auf einem weiteren Kern... was wird dann noch im ursprünlgichen Kern berechnet. Also 1. ? 2. Sound 3. EDGE 4. Idle Die virtuellen vier werden genutzt wenn ich die physikalischen benutze oder? Sind ein paar Fragen für einen Post, aber wie ihr seht, kenn ich mich selbst noch nicht so damit aus und würde gerne mehr darüber erfahren. Guten Flug!

Hast du schlechte Performance in DCS oder warum schielst du auf eine 500€ Karte? Wenn es nur für DCS ist, dann glaube ich dass du mit 50% deines Preises (250€) ca. 80% der Performance bekommen kannst.

Gibt es da überhaupt Tendenzen, mehr Kerne zu nutzen? Wie schwierig ist das, Rechenprozesse auf verschiedene Kerne aufzuteilen? Ist es nicht ungenutztes Potential in unserer Welt, in der die meisten Leute mehr als 2 Kerne im CPU haben?

Warte auf die nächste Generation.

1 ) Autopilot: Did you check if the VVI (Vertical Velocity Indicator) was nearly at +/- 0 ? The autopilot can not be enabled when you sink / climb to much (I don't know the exact limits) 2) Did you select a MAV from the DSMS first? Hope this helps.

Thank you for all your replies. With reference to the pictures Wildbill posted, I conclude that I should have stayed 3-4 miles away from the target when spotting AA like strelas. I researched the file once again and the Gecko was not involved to answer SmokeyTheLong's question. It was all shot by an Sa-9 Gaskin (Strela 1). So concluison once again: - If shot, don't be greedy with the flares - Nose Down, flares ous - Optimal is 3 to 9 o clock position, else maybe turn directly to the missile with nose down - Avoid being shot at at all.... there fore (TGP range indicator when spotted AAA) - Take out the AA with high altitude laser guided bombs or Mavs before clearing the rest of it with guns. Does anyone have anything to add? I will try the mission once again and report back if I went well with the Bastards ;)

One thought came up to me: I may did launch to few flares to avoid the missile, so I went on a firework run again and it worked this time... well not all the time.-. Last missile I got straight from the front and I pulled up, flares on top but it did not distract the missile. How can I get efficient with IR missile avoidance? Hey folks, I consider myself a noob till now. Got ca. 100 flight hours and I have the following problem: I can not get IR guided missiles away from my plane. Tried everything which was recommended. 9 or 3 o clock position. Flares, turning away.... It did not work. Man kann durchaus das typische n-tv Format erkennen, aber ich fands interessant. Geht um eine Ausbilderschule in Kanada für F18 Piloten. Man sieht auch die Zentrifugalkraft Testanlage mit Blackouts der Piloten. Ansonsten einige Stalls und wie sie das Flugzeug wieder unter Kontrolle gebracht haben. 45min ca.

Already made my choice. Going with the Corsair Obsidience 800D as it really impressed me. PSU: Should I go with Corsair once again? I have an 850W PSU in my current case and with my system spec thats well above it. I think I will go towards the 650W Series. Maybe TX or HX from Corsair. For 100€ it's not such a bad deal as it features 85+ gold. But I am open minded for any further suggestions. Nex thing I am overthinking is RAM: I have Corsair 1600Mhz XMS3 (if I can remember correctly). I saw some really fast RAM out there with 2400 MHz... Is this worth the extra €€€?

Is there any known study about it that says if it is worth the money or something like that? Because Eddie said Money seems to be the biggest problem... but if it saves the plane's and pilot's live (if proven) then it would be worth to implement it.
