Yes it is... considering you installed the DCS: A10C Module as linked above.

That is not the problem either. Check your CPU usage during flight and tell me how far does it go..

Well If it was a great one I would keep it. But it is not. It came from the pc manufacture itself and is quite uncomfortable.

Hey guys, just another of that "how could I improve my Rig" threads. System Specs see below. I am currently running on a ruther rubbish casing (no cable management and so on). What I would like to have is a good solid case for my future upgrades. I will wait for the next Nvidia Generation or even for the one after that for a video Card upgrade. CPUwise I will wait at least 1-2 years. RAM maybe not so long till upgrade to a better frequency if that gets me anything. I will definitely want to have a new power supply unit in my new case because the one I am using is well overpowered with 750W. I tend to 500-600W. Ok now here is the question: Anyone got good experiences with a case... could recommend me any? I am looking on the Corsair Obedience series (650D). I like the cable management but what I don't like about it is the front panel. I want a tower which is ATX compatible but also has some front USBs... you know. Hope this is enough input to get to some results. Questions -> ask. I will reply as soon as I can. Thanks in Advance Manuel

First of all... may you define bad framerate? 30fps is not bad for dcd....you should get better fps than 30 but not beyond 50. If you consider 50 as a bad framerate, because your bf3 framerate is up to 80 than the problem is there. Otherwise we have to look deeper into your system. 4,8Ghz is a monster. Do you OC? Edit: As I did not see it in your signature: Do you have a 64bit OS ?

First of all I would recommend a budget limit as things can get very expensive very soon. TrackIR is one of the essential things on Simming. It gives you a lot more of situational awareness and a few things are just impossible without it (air refueling e.g.) The Warthog as a Controller is necessary if you want to step deep into A10C Flying. For the other parts of DCS:W it is nice to have but not a requirement. I would test firstly on the Su25 model with your stick to see if it is something for you. Maybe consider a few a10c tutorials to understand the complexity of it all. All in all I would recommend that you buy, if possible, the items in this order: 1. TrackIR (can be 4 or 5) 2. A Hotas setup of your choice (TM is nice, CH has some good products too) KEEP IN MIND that you will need pedals in order to fly with the TM warthog as it does not support turning the stick for the rudders Have fun exploring the world of the jet fighter pilots.

AFAIK there are 3 type of missiles: Fox 1: Semi active radar guided missiles, such as Aim7 Fox 2: IR guided missiles such as Aim9 Fox 3: Active radar guided missiles such as Aim120 So if R77 is an active seeking missile, it has its own radar seeker and therefor does not need the lock of the aircraft.

I think you can consider the human nature as one, that is broken in terms of acting in a way which is not congruent with what the nature truly is or better: should be. Mankind has a lot of names for it: Sin, bad karma, whatever. But you have to see the tendency to bad habit because of the reasons kuky named. If nobody would act in these bad habits, no security would be necessary and no war machinery. All would be peace and joy or whatever. Point is, it isn't that way and we have to deal with that.
