what is with the tank gun sight calibration? in order to get a hit the deviation i have to make is sometimes unbelievable :joystick: any way this can be rectified this is after using the laser to correct the sight

when will the LAHAT missile be introduced ? :pilotfly: don,t know which version is emulated in dcs but the merkava from 1990 and newer should be able to fire the missile! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LAHAT https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merkava#Firepower :book:

being able to jump in any unit as tactical commander ! soldier, AI plane, ground unit together with a JTAC binocular would already be a big help build information which you can give to starting pilots basically let the tactical commander build the knee boards for the pilots live during MP missions would also make a more dynamic campaign possible in mission where external view is turned off let the information from awacs ,ground radar installations view able for the tactical commander if pilots see an enemy position make them able to note the position maybe under an F10 mission key so all pilots have access to either destroy or avoid it that for me is the biggest drawback now you have to fly around till you get shot down to find enemy units
-
that,s all i wanted to hear just spend 3 hoers taking down 11 of 100 SA units :pilotfly::cry::cry::cry::cry::music_whistling:

the post i found was about the launch authorization not the hit ratio!
-
has production of these missiles been moved to Bangladesh?:helpsmilie: i geta hit ratio since the latest update less than 1 out of 5 :music_whistling: i cannot believe in real life this missiles would suck so hard!

at the moment only the mission editor has the ability to assign a mission to a plane would be great if you could reassign an AI plane for a different mission and assign payload as a tactical commander during game-play so reassign a B52 to land change load-out and take off again for a different mission off course the same for any AI plane and helicopter and really need the UAV in multiplayer missions where outside view is turned off the tactical commander should be able to view directly what the UAV is seeing :music_whistling:

yes but i was trying to stay within the units available in DCS time period so they have the T90 which came in service in 1993 the copperhead was used in desert storm so that would be 1990-1991 2 years before the T90 ideally i would have all the goody,s the new GPS guided munitions https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M982_Excalibur https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XM395_Precision_Guided_Mortar_Munition https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1156_Precision_Guidance_Kit http://www.raytheon.com/capabilities/products/long_range_precision_fires/ http://www.raytheon.com/capabilities/products/perm/ http://www.raytheon.com/capabilities/products/lgr/ http://www.baesystems.com/en-us/product/silver-bullet--precision-guidance-kit :)

how hard would it be to add smart munitions to dcs ca now like the copperhead artillery shell or the hydra missile? i was thinking if a target was being lasered either by an airborne unit or a ground unit the shells drop square would seriously decrease to real life error margins i think for the copperhead it was 5 meters https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M712_Copperhead for the hydra less than 0.5 meters https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Precision_Kill_Weapon_System#Specifications any idea,s?

it,s a shame as destroying a bridge is an important tactical maneuver as is capturing one the foto,s are from an multiplayer game in which i was just a client so i hope there will be a fix in the not to distant future
-
after derstroying the bridge to halt enemy advance they drive under and over water until they reach land :helpsmilie:
-
i think that is already possible but i havent read everything http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/documentation/

well i did manage to get the m1 to rearm after reading the dcs user manual i found some stuff over linking the depots/warehouses to an airport the i let the truck drive from the depot to the artillery where i also drove myself with the M1 finally reloading started :) but i must say it would be a great idea if there were some Combat Arms video,s about doing everything :pilotfly:
-
i can,t get the M1 to rearm both to a warehouse ( ammunition)or an M818 where i basicly parked inside ! any idea,s?
-
could it be made possible that after you crash landed at the airport and getting the plane repaired you either get towed to a hardened surface or respawned at the ramp! now even if you get it fixed your still stuck in the mud :(
-
when selecting dcs multi player i get a black screen i hear the music running in the background so i think it would be a display issue this happens only with multiplayer shortcut if i use standard DCS short cut it starts up fine and i can select multiplayer from within the menu and log in to the server list and start up the game off course i have windows 7 service pack 1 gigabyte gtx 950 OC 16 gig ram qoud core cpu

this got in the back of my mind since my vacation in new zealand i posted the servo,s as an idea to use the electronics of the servo the servo motor itself as the motor driver,s (serious mosfets) and power supply would of course need to be scaled up the difficult part would be some kind of position feedback to the flight sim as over time the position of the simulator in space ( 3 axis ) would get out of sync with the position of the plane in the game (virtual space 3 axis ) i posted the video as to see what kind of frame would be needed if the flight pc and servo power would be included in the simulator you would only have to transfer power over 3 simulator axis and servo power and control/feedback over 2 axis htis would also build in some safety as you could have a power switch inside the simulator to cut power should something go wrong
-
has anyone ever attempted to build a real life 3 axis simulator for lock on / dcs http://www.parallax.com/Portals/0/Downloads/docs/prod/motors/900-00008-CRServo-v2.2.pdf if the flight sim could export a 3 axis/channel PWM signal to power 3 scaled up continuous rotational servo,s like the parallax type ? just brainstorming here!
