  1. first picture is me trying to destroy a T90 , this thing is till full of life while standing still if i was running into a mortar unit i would be toast withing the first 10 rounds second picture is me trying to destroy a compound i started with the zero point at the units but moved to all the way after the bofors at the end still the rounds keep falling just in front of the ridge
  2. but it is normal that the slewing diamond is in oposite directions? in INS mode it,s a multi player recording so i was not sure if this was related to that as for a 15 minute video you can fast forward! but i will take your advice and try to do better!
  3. ok this time i made a screen recording as the track replay does something completely different than what actually happened https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DmpMkQBdbBr1eoWqeLqXGBGXPYnK4fan/view?usp=sharing https://youtu.be/SMZ9iXzLtWM the track and the video are the same flight again in replay the harrier dives in the ground i think i closed in a bit on the problems after creating the target point in which slewing works just fine switch to IR missile fire away undesginate target with nose wheel steering and then trying to desginate a second target point the slewing is screwed undesginate and lock several times does not fix it but switching to LST temporaly does after this slewing is back to normal so that would be Sensor Select Aft
  4. i made a track file availeble but i don,t know what is going on the replay of the track file has me drilling the harrier into the ground before i even get to bombs that never happend , i went on to using the IR missiles for the second thor and bomb some targets at the airport the first part also has me using the DMT on the sky , this is also not what happend there is also a part where i evade the thor missiles , originally i went down to tree top level the track file has me much higher i have this similar on another track file from persia i do think the it has something to do with IR missiles and bomb loadout somewhere in there is the old axis and opposite moving of the slew what i do is create a target point ( waypoint long press ) after slewing to a target, turn on the IR missile ,Sensor Select Forward for imrv then TDC down to lock the missile after that the slewing is screwed https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OqM-or1Yq0qkkWnJWezwVJjDUNy4PAwg/view?usp=sharing
  5. anybody else having the old problems again since the update with DMT slewing super fast and opposite axis as it was !?
  6. can the building be solid in a way that you can drop off troops like stingers or JTAC,s? i could not use the drop off menu
  7. the first picture is of me trying to hit a THOR with mortars you can see the impact points , swiss cheese the second is of AI mortars getting a hit within 8 rounds actually less i tried several track files but the mortar impact points are not stored , so you can see it

I had this now a number of times for some reason AI mortars are expert at targeting even if i change direktion at 64km several times the rounds seem to follow me standing still means getting hit within seconds but if i unload 160 rounds on on a stationary target not a scratch basicly i can turn the surroundings into swiss cheese without the unit getting hit or even damaged

Can we have vehicle lighting plz ,other vehicles seem to have them Very nice moon tho thank you Eagle dynamics At the moment i switch to JTAC binoculars thermal sight to drive in low to no light locations this would also give the possibilty to light up a farp , or make shift airport very hard to find in the dark based on your map

  10. Getting stuck is one thing but getting unstuck is the real challenge! And really tricky are the busches next to rivers even a small flowerbed or a single tree branche will get a 70 ton tank stuck never mind getting stuck in the river! why i try to find a place in between busches , not easy in some locations going full speed and ram through but if there is a butterfly on the other side you are screwed same as driving your hummer up the mountain aperently no low gear, do have a trick for that turn around and drive up backwards will only do 16km an hour but you will get over it.
  11. currently you have to turn off and restart the plane to change laser codes in the harrier now this would be real life as the planes would never get a new load out fully hot as far as i can find , but i think i can remember that during the gulf wars loadouts were changed with the pilot staying in their cocpit while running? so could we simulate this that you can change loadout laser codes through the kneeboard as it is now but with the engine running while on a farp, carrier or airport this would simulate ground crews changing the laser codes before they stick it to your plane?
  12. i found an article of the departement of the army it has some good information on laser codes and possibilty,s it states that Laser Guided Bombs are coded on the ground and cannot be changed in the air so changing the laser code for the LGB in the A10C would actually be not possible jp3_09_1(99).pdf
  13. i would already be happy if i can simply drive my hummer up the mountain for some reason DCS Hummers have no low gear and as a former military landrover driver , we had 4 cylinder diesels you could take some decent hills it was more of a quistion if your traction would hold up i must say as i was attached to a training company i still remember the remarks of the instructors which come very usefull in DCS!
  14. would it be a strange option to be able to reload from an ammo truck!? especially if the farp is sometime away from the target zone and you manage god forbid to reach it and knock out systems but are now out of missiles, rounds or fuel you have 2 options flyback or chuck the heli and respawn if a tactical commander manages to get an an ammo truck nearby would it be cheating if you could reload from that? or have an other chopper load a reload package to a nearby location MI8 taking fuel and ammo for the shark
  15. having the option to give different direktives to groups or coloms would be a great addition if during an encounter a vehicle is badly damaged and is now only able to do 12 km/hour it will hold up the column what i do now is just euthanise the vehicle which is a big shame especially if it,s an abrams the same option for repair as you have for planes now would also be a welcome addition stand next to an ammo truck for 3 minutes and everything is buffed out!
  16. i don,t know if this is in the works but having a proper datalink between a combat arms player and planes able to receive datalink info would be great currently i use the chat function in multiplayer for that, like hey guys there is a THOR at MGRS coordinates !!! watch for orange smoke if i could pull up a window in JTAC binoculars and send a nine line message that can be received by planes suchs as the harrier, A10, F16 , F18 capable of receiving datalink messages either players or AI would really build on the interacting between ground forces and airpower
  17. this happened before me trying to hide from an enemy plane but by some amazing magic they figure out where i am and come straight at me the track is of me hinding literly behind a tree line but the su30 group can actually pinpoint target me https://drive.google.com/file/d/1V2atkUZFGGFsfyoogzjvWzG7w2DHtxZ-/view?usp=sharing in the screenshot i am hiding behind the village that sits on a steep hill i about 10 meters lower on the hill side with buildings in front of me and still this su30 came in a direkt line from 40km away no ground EWR or enemy units in the area just computer algoritmes at work

A ground stabelised artillery sight would be nice so the distance unit are correct no matter what position the units is standing angeled versus the ground https://nigelef.tripod.com/fc_laying.htm at the moment i use the JTAC binocular to make fine adjustements to gun or rocket turret as it has a 0,00 resolution as opposed to the very course gradients of the normal sight going from 0 to 5 with no resolution in between that is with line of sight it would be great if i can fire a rocket or gun from non line of sight jump into a vehicle which has line of sight so i can see where the round hits! the gun should stay aimed and not store itself as it does now ideally you would do this with 2 persons but not everybody like to take the time with this in multiplayer one of the number one plus points of combat arms is i can sip my coffee while doing this as opposed to flying when i have my hands full

It,s a multiplayer track as i like the uncertainty and only do this i copied it to my google drive folder as it is 65MB large and can't upload here now it includes my first 10 minutes with the Hind which i just bought before as an excuse i must mention i don,t have rudder pedals so i do everything with my Z and X keys why i like the shark so much! https://drive.google.com/file/d/12HLT0xjRMugJ1r6xSSE_fcbVA5Fn2wy6/view?usp=sharing i replayed the track file and everthing shows up very funny at 4X speed enjoy multiplayer track units moving of route
  20. plz fix combat arms as it is totally useless at the moment, units don,t drive along assigned routes ,freeze after several 110 meters gets lost in the woods because they refuse to use the yellow brick road!. they decide to cross rivers while they are not ambfibious and do so at speed only to get lost again basicly you have to baby each single unit to the point where you want to have them, this can take up to several driving order but even then they decide to leave in the excat oppostie direction as assigned 70 ton floating tank and some examples of getting stuck in the forest all these units had routes assigned over the road
  21. it,s a hot start in multiplayer on the carrier Tarawa basicly after loading and take of master arm AG button DMT laser code set Stores select rockets right mfd select TPOD but indeed cycling off and on again made it work!!! nobody told me the HARRIER had a windows operating system!
  22. Still having problems , i had this down to a science before the big update the nose wheel steering undesginate behaves very differently now can,t change AR track , SAFE or TRNL seems locked out somehow
  23. for the life of me i can,t get the TPOD to work with laser rockets i can,t unsafe the laser in the tpod or change to laser i think everything is as it should be but very clueless on why it does not work
  24. yes but since you can,t put in weather data this gets very tricky if in multiplayer you don,t how much your rounds are drifting you can,t compensate you can only order them to fire on coordinates , so they should do so or indeed compensate for wind but these inputs are not modeled i was in the service myself very often on the firing range accuracy was much better than is modeled at the moment hey i understand very busy with other projects but plz a bit more accuracy i was shooting at an T90 at 500mtrs from cover head on with a AP or sabot round hit 4 times not a scratch had to use a HE round if on the other hand an AI T90 is shooting at your M1 at 2000 mtrs he will destroy your day
