  1. Hi, Doing F16 lesson on JDAM deployment. In the mission it tells you to turn on power (Done) go to CNTL (Done) and then go OSB-17 to change AIR -> GND. However, no matter how often I click it doesn't work. I have seen bug reports from earlier in the year, but since it's now in the training mission I assume it is meant to be working again? 2. Hi! Is there any information regarding the buying options of the new map? Will it be included with the f/a-18? If so, only during pre-release? Or do you expect combo deals at release?
  3. Hi, With DCS becoming more popular and the increase of (expensive) new modules, the total worth of accounts is steadily increasing. Therefore the accounts are also becoming more interesting for third parties looking to hack an account. If someone has a majority of the addons you are easily looking at 800+ Euro worth of software linked to one account. Currently the DCS Store/account page is protected by e-mail + Password protection. No other security features are in place. There are a host of features available in this domain, and I was wondering if Eagle Dynamics could look into those options. I think many users, including myself, would be thankful for such an implementation. To me the game it self doesn't necessarily needs to be protected with 2FA, as long as you can't change passwords / e-mail addresses / have authority over module ownership. Some suggestions: - IP white/blacklisting - OpenID - Google Authenticator - Azure authenticator - SMS authentication - Or at least no password and/or e-mail change without SMS verification Thank you for your consideration.
  4. I don't feel anyone really deserves it, but I could definitely use it to get a friend up and running.
  5. I just unzipped and placed the zip mentioned in the Topic start in my DCS world folder. However, when clicking on update it downloaded the most recent update. At that time my Trend Micro reported the updater utility as ransomware.. don't know what to think of that. Any advice?
  6. Zoals bekend, ben ik daar zeker bij Pepijn :).
  7. Nevermind didn't fix it, apparently there was a weird gateway set in the PFsense advanced setup. I altered it to match it. This inspired me: If this is on a WAN that is not the default gateway, make sure there is a gateway chosen on this WAN interface, or the firewall rules for the port forward would not reply back via the correct gateway. from: https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Port_Forward_Troubleshooting -------------------------- I think the reason I saw my server was because it was within the network, so it has no issues seeing that. A couple of minutes after I changed the settings I couldn't connect to the internet anymore (still the network obviously). ---------- Final edit: Apparently DMZ was turned off in my modem, so the router couldn't fully do its job. With that turned on and my firewall on my pc turned off (even while having exceptions), it finally works now! :D
  8. I just got back and performed the Telnet test from my secondary device. I had the DCS server running on the main pc. I executed: 0 10.0.0.225 10308 which gave a positive connection.
  9. I have to leave now, but I have installed Telnet on both devices. And installing DCS on the other laptop (which is going to take a while) I'll get back in this topic as soon as I have executed your tests. Thank you for now! :)
  10. Direct connecting from the secondary laptop through DCS you mean? And with the full external IP adress?
  11. Thank you for your quick reply. I made an error, I meant it is forwarded on my router. We run a private build router with PfSense 2.1.3-RELEASE(i386) installed. I noticed that the router also has own DNS servers, do they need to be the same as my own?
  12. Hi, I know this is a subject that has been passed many times before, however I have tried pretty much every single option / solution that I have found online. Therefore I'm asking for your help! My situation; 1) PC behind hub to router to modem 2) PC on a fixed IP (10.0.0.225) 3) Router has port 10308 forwarded TCP/UDP to .225 (my PC) 4) Windows Firewall is managed by McAfee LiveSafe firewall, with exclusions to DCS.exe (all protocols not port limited) 5) Virusscanner livescan off 6) Also tried with Firewall off 7) I have let people do a direct IP connect and it doesn't show up in the list I'm feeling a bit hopeless, what can I do to make my missions available? Thank you so much in advance
  13. I will try changing my name and see what happens, my ping should be fine (I have yet go higher than 50 in DCS).
  14. Hi, do you need to register for your server? Because I always get a response that i'm not allowed into the server.. although I have never been in your server.
  15. Yes it would be great to have multiple dynamic startup locations. You are very limited if you want to allow multiple aircraft for different mission types within one mission. Especially if you choose one of the airports that are very limited in their space. If dynamic doesn't work, it would at least be a huge improvement if you could park planes freely on a parking lot instead of being limited to only a few parkings (while there usually is more than enough space for other aircraft).
