It would still be appreciated if they gave us an update, even if it's bad news and the backers section won't be ready for a week. It's the silence thats killing me tbh. :( -

Exactly my feelings Aginor, I don't mind buying the module if i have to but would rather get it at the discounted pre launch cost than pay full. I'll simply use the dora reward as a xmas or bday gift for a friend. -

I think it's time we got an official responce from ED on the backers keys, especially with the Dora release tommorow. I'm still on the fence about pre-purchasing it, however i can always use the extra reward and select different modules to give friends at a later date. -

As a backer I'm very tempted to get the Dora now so i definately have it for release, although if we get access to the backer rewards, I'd almost be handing them extra cash for a promised reward......... -

Hi Sabre, how do i install the updates? do i just place them in the campaign folder? -
Ok Kuky last i checked it was Luthier running the KS not ED, and since then he has been removed from the project. ED are simply trying to clean up the mess that he left, in fact the KS campaign in general was a huge mess throughout. Face the fact that Luthier promised more than he could deliver when it came to backer rewards. I pledged over $150 towards the project during KS, and as such feel fine with what i'm getting in Wags update. If however you feel cheated for pledging $40 and not getting all the WW2 aircraft i think you need to open your eyes and look at other KS projects. Not ONE other KS project I know about has promised as many rewards for so little investment.

I've been carefully following this thread and have to say am very disappointed in the majority of replies so far. What people seem to fail to grasp is the huge cost of developing a single aircraft let alone a map and four individual aircraft with vast performance differences. I've lost out on some rewards, mainly printed items, however I don't see how ED could have kept to the original rewards promised by Ilya, and kept DCS WW2 financialy viable. Wags has done his best to please as many people as possible, no doubt with quite a few constraints on what he can give to backers at certain pledge levels. If you feel cheated out of a reward, personally i think you are insane to believe ED can deliver 5 DCS quality aircraft for just $40.

Cowboy as far as I know you don't get the Dora in DCS world but will receive it in DCS WW2. Unless it states in kickstarter that you get a separate Dora key, iirc you only get it at DCS WW2 release
-
That answers for the lower backers but what about those of us at $100+? It was always stated on Kickstarter that those who backed with the Dora key as a listed reward would receive it as it went into DCS World. Is this not happening now? As stated on Kickstarter: Pledge $150 or more 2 backers DCS World Tier 4. Everything at the $50 level, plus TWO digital copies of DCS World FW-190D-9 with beta access (when available in early 2014), and TWO digital copies of DCS World P-51D Mustang (on successful kickstarter completion). Share with a friend! Estimated delivery: Feb 2014 Add $12 USD to ship outside the US

This is something that I'd also like to know as a backer, pledged $150 to get the Dora at release. Has this changed from the Kickstarter or is it still likely to happen?
-
Honestly printed manuals would be nice, but as others have said, I'd rather the cost of producing manuals and T-shirts go towards dev costs as I can live with PDF's. I'd happily replace physical goodies for 190 digital keys etc. Backed at $150 level

Just tested this and it seems DavidRed is correct, if you do an airstart the muzzles will briefly flash when you click the fly/unpause button. It doesn't seem to occur for me when spawning on the ramp or runway. It also doesn't appear to expend any ammunition when it flashes, so I would call it a graphic bug more than anything else.

Sobek in 1.2.7 i had FFB and stick shake on the A10c, UH-1, Mi8 and Ka-50. Are you saying there shouldn't be any shake in these aircraft? Stick shaek is rather needed in helo's for judging ground effect. The P-51 FFB seems to be working as before i.e. no stick force until airbourne, and stick shake when entering stalls/ spins.
-
Basically Stick Shake is gone in the A10a, A10C, F-15C, UH1-H, KA-50 and the MI8. There is no loosening or stiffening of the stick either. In the SU-25 and SU-25T there is some shake but it's very very weak.
-
Anyone else missing FFB in 1.2.8 in the A10c and other aircraft?
-
Hi all, i've just installed the newest DCS World release and it seems FFB isnt' working in most of my aircraft. There is no FFB for me in the following aircraft: A10a, A10C, F-15C, UH1-H, KA-50 and the MI8 There is very limited FFB in the SU-25T and SU-25 where it almost feels as if the stick shake is set very low. The Mig 29, SU27 and SU33 all seem to have FFB working as before the patch. Any help is greatly appreciated. Edit: I'm using a Microsoft FFB2 joystick

Swap the controller axis Abburo, it's worked for me in the Huey anyway
