  2. I really find myself more "succesfull at landing" with 2300 RPM setting, due to (way) lower engine torque when you put your wheels on the deck. I sometime move the RPM setting all the way up to the max. to slow down if i notice i'ma a bit too high / fast on the approach but i always make sure to reset it to 2300 RPM on short final. Also, a good tip, is to try a slightly "heavier" flare, so you touch down with all 3 wheels (3-points landing). I find this the most stable and easy to deal with after the touch down, mainly because at this point you can hold the stick backwards increasing the tailwheel load and maintaining stability. S!
  3. Quick 2c. drop here from a rather new Hog pilot here :) As also suggested by GripenNG i would really suggest to learn to FLY the aircraft before hopping into the weapons and more advanced systems. It may get boring at some point (it did for me after a while of startup/taxi/takeoff/landing/flameout) you can always strap a couple of Mk82s and bomb something with the relatively easy to use CCIP mode. So, coming to the point, i'd really suggest to go trough something like: - Cockpit familiarization // Know what is where, at least for basic systems - Startup procedure // Starting with the tutorials, then trying different procedures as your knowledge grows - Taxi & TakeOff procedure // Basically learn to safely travel around the airbase and takeoff without breaking anything and keeping the plane steady on it's TO run - Landing procedure // Worth trying with different loads (starting with empty all the way up to full load, just in case) Once you feel and are confident with these, it may be time to start learning the TGP (imo your most valuable tool along with JTAC) and then going trough the CCRP/CCIP/CCIP CR modes for different type of munitions (CBU, GBU, AGMs, and so on). S!
  4. You'll LOVE it! I had to buy it but damn has been the best thing i bought in years
  5. Agreed on this. Default key as per 1.2.6 afaik is 'ù' (reference QWERTY keyboard)
  6. If i did understand correctly your issue (sorry, ENG isn't my native language!) we are talking about the knobs to select the tacan channel not responding to mouse and keyboard input. I rushed trying it and it seems to work properly for me on 1.2.6 (latest update). As per mouse input i use mousewheel scrolling on the knobs. Please correct me if i did misunderstand your issue :)
  7. IMO a module up to DCS fidelity (read A10C as a minimum!) based on a quite recent airframe as the F35 is totally impossible to achieve. There are too many things we don't and can't know, due to classified material. Honestly i'm voting "no" because of the reason stated above. I can't see the reason for coming down to compromises to make a "DCS F-35"; would be more like a mod for FC3. My2cents
  8. There's the seat raise/lower switch on the left side of the cockpit, somewhere on the left of the landing gear lever
  9. Is your INS aligned ? In the INS page did you switch to NAV ? Did you switch to EGI nav mode ? I'm not much of a skilled pilot on the hog yet, but usually double checking these solved it for me (always forget to enable the EGI !!) Edit: forgot to mention to also enable the EAC (just under the left engine's throttle lever, hidden if you don't move your view using 6DOF)
  10. I have faith about DCS future. It will only get better and with more content. Slowly but everything will come :)
