Awesome thank you for going to the trouble of making that.Did it work for you? Could you use the UHF to speak to the wing man?

I tried but no success.But then again I'm not super savvy with the mission editor. It's weird though as i can talk to AWACS with the UHF just fine. Maybe someone more Savvy with the editor can make it work.

Hi thanks for the reply.The UHF works very well.I can use it to talk to AWACS etc But i just cant get it to set my Wingman to UHF,Like you said it turns red.

Hi, In the mission editor it sets the Wingman or flight to VHF as standard and i was wondering is there a way to set them to UHF in editor.That way i can keep my ATC ground ,fields etc on VHF and i can use UHF for my flights ,AWACS etc.

Hi I don't see how this hasn't been brought up already but i couldn't seem to find it so I'll ask anyway( sorry if it has and I've missed it)..After seeing our pilot walking on the ground after we have ejected can another player on a multiplayer server go in to pick them up in a Chopper? If not how difficult would this be to implement?I regularly watch DCS you tube videos of various online Squadrons where a pilot gets shot down and they are out of the fight.How cool would it be to have a dedicated search and rescue squadron flying along side to rescue them and take them back to a friendly airbase to jump into another Aircraft to continue the fight. Who would like to see this?

It will be interesting to see what map(or Maps, never know) the training missions will be on.My bet would be Caucus map as that is where most training missions are held.Also for anyone who doesn't have Any other map modules.Though you never know they might coincide with the strait of Homuz Map.

Is the homing AFN-2 Still going to be fixed in the BF-109 And the FW190 or has it been Scrapped?

Hi Folks and happy hornet Pre-Purchase day! I was just wondering will it come with training missions and a campaign?(At Early Access or Some Point Later) It doesn't say on the Pre-Purchase page. Also i have been saving my Bonus points for the hornet, can i use them now with the Pre-Purchase?

Ok Now I'm super confused.I personally want to keep 1.5.8 on my little 60 gig hard drive as my 2.2 is on a normal HDD and TBH doesn't run well it has terrible stutters and frame rates fluctuate a bit I'm hoping the 2.5 release and me putting it on a new SSD i have just ordered will sort that out. As i think that's my problem with 2.2. So my question is, when 2.5 comes out and i download the installer will i have the option to install it wherever i want? i.e the new SDD.(please keep in mind guys I'm barely computer literate all this tech talk from some of you guys is going way over my head:helpsmilie:) Again Thank you so much for the reply's and help you guys are great:thumbup:

Wow, Ok then looks like i will be ordering a new SSD. A 120g Minimum by the look of it. I have all maps also every module, except the hawk so far.Probably should go a 240 so i have room to grow. Going to need room for that glorious FA-18 module as well as some other new ones coming out.Not to mention new maps that are on the horizon.Thanks for the help guys:thumbup:

Hi pilots I was just wondering if I will need a new SSD for 2.5. I currently have 1.5.8 on a 60 gig SSD and I have a my 2.2 Alpha on a Normal HDD. I want to put 2.5 when it merges onto the SSD as it runs so much better and was wondering is a 60gig SSD going to be enough for 2.5? How will the the merge work also? 2.2 looks fine on my system so i guess well just have to wait and see how 2.5 looks.I'm looking so forward to 2.5 it feels like Xmas all over again.:)

Here's my 1.5.8 settings.

This picture perfectly shows the problem.

Look at the first picture(aka 1.5.8 version) It has serious graphic scratches /anomalies on the canopy and the second picture has a perfect crystal clear canopy (aka 2.2 version) .It is the only plane i have that has this on the canopy and i have all the planes and helicopters except the hawk module.It doesn't matter where i start in the plane at whatever airfield in the caucus map the canopy looks like that.It looks terrible and i want it clear like every body else on you tube on twitch and my friends who play.I just tried uninstalling all liveries for it and deleting the module via module manager and reinstalling it. And it is back the same way.

If it doesn't still happen in the merge.My understanding is the merge uses both installations of 1.5 and 2.2.Very frustrating indeed.Thank you for the reply though i appreciate it.
