Allright so it's true that the STT mode has a larger scan angle (width) than TWS mode does ?

Did the scanning zone (width) always decreased when going into TWS mode ? I don't remember it doing that, but now when i go into TWS it goes my width scan zone decreases by half. I also can't INcrease it again with Right Control + = , only when going back into STT mode will it change back. Also, can i scan left and right with the F15, like you can with the mig ?

first of all, wow . I like these controls, setting up is easy, flight controls and throttle are perfect without even having to set them. I can very easily set up target designator , and radar scan zones with the mini joysticks . One tiny thing though, radar scan zone left and right are not working. But they're also not working on my keyboard. So, i go to TWS mode, and my radar scan zone decreases in width from 60 to 30 degrees. Now i should be able to scan to the left and right of the center using "shift + ," or "shift +L" right ? Honestly, i didnt'even know this was possible at all untill i looked at the control settings. What am i doing wrong ?

I see a lot of enormous "profiles" summed up , but .... I can also just manually enter the keys myself right ? Like, i want to keep most stuff on my keyboard, i don't need to have "gear down" or "open cockpit" on my stick. I'd just like flying and some radar controls on my stick . This shouldn't take me days to figure out right ?

Make disconnect count as a death. This is how it works on playstation network when playing Tekken for instance. Of course in lomac it's not 1 vs 1 so the "winner" can not be awarded a kill, but if you make the disconnect count as a death, then the lamer would have no gain by pulling the plug cause it would still count as a death .

Yeah i tried that one to. Enormous frame rate impact, and poor quality to boot. (for me) For me, the only negative thing about the DXTORY codec is that it makes for large files. But i'll take large files anyday when my framerate loss is literally 1 or 2 frames. (on a total of +100 frames per second)..

Hey man, i can help you with your DXTORY settings. It should give you virtually no framedrop. I'll post my settings with screenshots in a moment. Everything circled in red is changed compared to default settings. oEHNVrGv_kA Yes, the file end up ginormous, but after rendering with vegas you get decent quality and decent file sizes. p.s : Windows Live Moviemaker als works just fine to render video's, put music under them, and has the standard editing tools. Easy to sue . And free.

Pro's F15 compared to Mig : 1) Aim 120 travels faster than R77 2) TWS mode (multiple targets) 3) Can bring ridiculous amounts of fuel Neg's F15 1) RWR (tews) is ..uhm.. DERP compared to Mig's and Su's 2) No infrared (sidewinders don't count imo, range is 3 nm's at most or something, they are never usable in multiplayer) 3) Radar screen is poorly placed compared to mig . 4) Does NOT have the super handy navigation radar screen thing, where the awacs shows enemy planes in screen 5) Is slower than MIG, and bigger, and can't turn as fast. I'm sure i'm forgetting lots but that's what comes to mind right now

Sidewinders ? Man i think you're better off with cannons :) But seriously, being able to attack multiple targets is a huge advantage, but everything else i prefer the mig For instance Awacs assistance , and you get this little map on the same screen.

I had a thrustmaster stick , and was using mouse look yes. Anyway, ordered Track - ir 5 . Arma 3 is coming to so i guess it's a good investment

My guess is yes, because it's incredibly annoying having to grab the mouse constantly , however, Can i control mouselook with a button on a flight stick ? And, is that comparable to Track-IR ? Isn't Track-IR taxing on your eyeballs ? (uncomortable) Track ir 4, or 5 ? I hear 5 is smoother, how much difference does it make ? Does everybody use Track-ir and a flight stick ?

Well, you can see he's locked by me . I did not expect the missiles to HIT from that range, but not for them to go apesh^t the minute i let them go Full track is 32 MB . Not sure how to give it . More questions :( 1) "hyperlobby" , does it still exist ? Is it the place to go , or do i click "multiplayer" in the game itself ? 2) CHEATERS. Are there any ? I play a lot of Battlefield 3 , there's not a LOT of cheaters in BF3, but i'm hoping that Lomac has even viewer of them ? 3) What game modes can i expect ? I remember a few good servers were up years ago, i liked most where there were just 2 bases and people would just try to get a kill and run back to base :) . Is that sort of gameplay still around ? 4) Are there also training servers ? This time around i'd like to get better at flying in itself. A flight stick and Track-IR are on the way . I'm pretty sure a lot of frustration will come from installing them so there will be questions about that soon . Anyway, training servers ? I'd like to formation fly and that sort of stuff to . 5) Lag , is lag still such a huge problem ? I remember people spamming print-screen to avoid missiles . How is that today ? 6) Is multiplayer FUN ? How big is the online community (that plays multiplayer) ?

meh TWS is not that great. Your radar is on . They can hear you pinging them. They can hear the 120 go active And the 'lock' is weak, if they make a sharp turn or go high/down you lose them :-(

Oh lol :D So Flood is basically a radiation CANNON ? And anything in it's circle will light up like christmas tree for rocket to follow ? Damn, here i was thinking the F-15 had a stealthy way of attacking now :joystick: :P
