  1. High Badger66, Firstly I want to try and sell them as a package and secondly I hope to sell them within the UK. If I don't sell them here they will go on Ebay . If I really do struggle to sell them I will have to re-consider my options. If that is the case I may come back to you. As for condition, as my original post says. Absolutely unmarked and lightly used. RB
  2. Hi Hotas Warthog, Saitek combat pedals , TrackIR5 with Sennheiser head set package for sale. I have reluctantly decided to sell my Thustmaster Hotas Warthog, Saitek Combat pedals, my Track IR5 and a Sennheiser head set as a package. I bought the whole system together in February 2013 and I have had little use out of them. They are absolutely unmarked and have been used only lightly. They still have their original packaging. The Track IR head set clip has failed but as I understand it everyone who buys this kit suffers the same failure and so now it sports an unattractive elastic band to hold it to the headset. I have started a new compnay and I simply don’t have the time now to enjoy them as they should be enjoyed so have reluctantly decided to put them up for sale. I will place them on Ebay but before I do I thought I’d offer them here first. To buy this package today will cost in excess of £650. I’ll sell the whole lot at £450. I’d rather not split the package and would prefer to sell to the UK only. 1 x Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog 1 x Saitek Combat Pedals 1 x Track IR5 pro clip package. 1 x Sennheiser head set PM me if you're intrested. 3. I agree with all thats been said and I'm enjoying the immersion - But Pedro's acting - Paleeeeze!
  4. I'm in full agreement but totally the opposite to you and most in the DCS community. Until a few months ago I hadn't even heard of any of the titles even though a few years back I did participate in flight sims (Xplane etc). So can you imagine the sensory overload for me? - I get into DCS and the A10, invest in a Warthog, pedals and Track IR start to learn the A10 and become proficient in the airmanship and handling the aircraft. As most will atest to, it is a challenge but as a diciplined type of guy I didn't want to progress until I could fly it and fly it well. Would you beleive I haven't fired a shot in in the A10 yet? And it pretty much looks I may never get to now the Huey is out!!! It really is what I once hoped flight sims would evolve into. problem I have is I have 2 fabulous sims to learn and only one life to do it in. I simply can't find the time to do both and based on my recent Huey Beta experiences it looks like the Huey may just win my affections. Its going to take hours to become as proficient as I would like which means something will have to go. Also I think this sim (without a HUD) will translate brilliantly to a HD projector as the main display and an purpose built seat (which I'll fabricate myself) will just take it to the next level. So from the other end of the learning curve, I echo the sentiments on the useful nature of this forum. Waitscat
  5. Hello, Noob question re the downloaded files. How do I install them? Cheers
  6. Hello Eihort, Yep sync box in start up clicked. It all appears to be settled now but thanks for pointing that out. sometimes it the obvious things Waistcat
  7. Cracked it. Thanks for all your assistnce but I just fired up both engines using the Hotas but for some reason the ENG OP & FUEL Flow switch postions on screen did not match the Throttle switch positions after a couple of cycles all is well. But doesn't explain the No Hotas plugged in failures? But onwards and upwards Thanks again all Waistcat
  8. Hello again fella's, Had to husband things this morning but back now. Thanks for your input. I had another go this morning at the same start up routine you saw in the track and couldn't even get the APU above 60% before it shut down. I'll study what you have all said and report back. Waistcat
  9. Thanks for looking Conrad, My start up is per the training session for starting th engines. You say the engine is starting but it doesn't run correctly. Then only thing that has been constant is the rudders. they have been in all the time so I'll take a look at them but..... I have been looking at this for hours - so tomorrow to try again.
  10. OK thanks Danny, Forgive the head movementsbut no TIR yet. As I have said previously this engine no start happens without the HOTAS as well so really don't think the HOTAS is doing this? no left engine start.trk
  11. OK Hotas installed (no TARGET). Went into mission and did a quick free flight. All appeared to working as it should. I have track IR5 to use but still awaiting headphones so I know what you mean about re-asigning the trim!!! Came out of that and and then went back into Missions and did the free flight ramp start. Left engine didn't fire up, Inadvertant stick movement (on screen) without me touching the stick when I pulled the left throttle up from ident but no movement of the throttle on screen. Saved track but now I don't know where to find that file to attach to this post
  12. I didn't want to hook up in case I started to believe the issues were with the HOTAS! Beleive me I want to get going!!!
  13. As I say I have been practicing this for 3 weeks while I wait for the HOTAS to arrive so I pretty much have the engine start process ingrained in my head and up to now I have been able to complete the whole of the startup and ready to taxi without problems. Now the engine refuses to start (I just tried again)
  14. Hello All, I have had DCS 10c for about 3 weeks now after downloading 1.2.2. DCS World and then A10. I have updated to 1.2.3 when the update came out. I have been waiting patiently for the arrival of my New HOTAS Warthog and Saitek Combat rudder pedals and whilst I have, I have been familiarising myself with the cockpit, start-up procedures etc. just itching to get going. I’m a little daunted, not by the actual flying, training, systems etc. as I do have a pilot’s licence but don’t make my living flying. No, it’s the myriad of profiles set up and preferences I will need to get my head around. I know there is some excellent advice on the forum, perhaps too much when you are searching as I’m having trouble seeing the wood for the trees. Then this evening whilst laboriously practicing the start-up procedure using keyboard commands I suddenly cannot start the engines. The left just refuses to start. Anyone any ideas? I’m running Widows 7 (64 bit) and as I say the latest version (1.2.3). I have also taken delivery of the HOTAS and the pedals today but as I have this problem I have been reluctant to connect them so whilst I have this opportunity can someone tell me if the stick and throttle are simply plug and play or do I need to download the T.A.R.G.E.T software for them to run in the standard game configuration. Sorry if this seems a little stupid but I have tried to find similar issues on the forum but I have not been that successful. Cheers! (I’ll get around to putting my system up when I get the chance to list it but it is above the minimum spec)
  15. Diveplane, I have a X45 in absolutely prestine condition and little used that I'm willing to sell. I have PM'd you Waistcat
