Thanks for the response. So the video cuts off part of my view, I was, it appeared, locked onto both the T-72, with a blinking crosshair, and the AAA. The minimum range maybe an issue. I got in close because I was tired of locking onto the target and then the lock transfers onto anything nearby or between. I have taken out both bridges, multiple buildings, rocks, bushes, trees and some poor schmucks on a bus. There were two previous to the video and one more afterwards, if it were the random weapon failure someone better be talking to the manufacturer. I am not happy with the video quality, it looked much better on my system but took a hit going to YouTube, but in both the lower part of the dash got cut out and same today, I think that may be caused by my video card will, hopefully, upgrade in the near future. And I really wish my rudder pedals would get here.

So the video shows the last two missile launches that went off target. Whatever I was locked on should have stayed locked when I launched, or did I do something wrong? ${1}

Came across this thread on the forum and I would say it is pretty accurate. So you should be able to see a tank at about 2500 meters after that it gets a little touchy. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=119885

I am getting so frustrated with this. I had a really nice lock on a T-72 and as I fire the missile lost lock and went off into never Neverland. Lock again and the same thing.

Well with the 7500 Ft marker that is just over a mile away so you should be able to spot it, but as someone else pointed out there are other factors. But I think, from my experience, it would be harder to spot. I sometimes go sit at the end of the runway at the local airport. I have read the charts and know the traffic pattern. I know the planes are at 3000 feet and about 25K when they turn into their final and yet they are hard to see and I know where to look, the lights may give them away, and even then they can be tough to see. These are not the little planes either this is a major airport with all sizes of jets coming in. I can see the landmarks, but the planes are tough and I know where to look. So trying to see a tank from 7500 feet with a possible location.. :)

Go to an airport that has skydivers and you will get a very good idea. Up here the local airport uses two types of planes, maybe more but I will stick with the two. One is a Cessna 182(?) which is about the size of a Buick and it gets really hard to see above 7500 feet, at about jump height you can just barely see it. The other is a twin engine plane about the size of a semi with trailer and even that one is tough to see when they are at altitude. Spend an afternoon watching the planes and watch the traffic pattern. Take binoculars with you and you will see that the planes are pretty hard to see from a distance, now think of a tank on the ground, in camo, and suddenly the spotting is pretty realistic.

Not sure, but they are not like the old ones where it was just a video. These new ones you actually can take control again after, or I guess, during the mission. Like with the A-10C. Nicely done thought.

A huge thanks for helping me find those missions. Also a big thank you to DCS for updating the SU-27 training missions, if that is a taste of what is to come for the A-10A, F-15C and future releases I am impressed. If those are the ones I cannot install that truly is my loss. The run through the city is a blast.

Yes I found them on Windows explorer but they are not showing up In Game anymore.. But thanks those were the ones I was looking for. :)

No, not those ones, there were some new SU-27 ones, which are like the new, to me, SU-25T missions. First there are NO missions under my installation of FC3 since the new update. There are training missions but those are the old ones, which is just a video. The new SU-27 training missions were in the Missions folder, not the Training folder just before this update. I have tried downloading the training torrents but cannot get them to install. Apparently I do not have DCS installed.

Is there anyway those missions could be uploaded. Both the SU-27 training missions and the FC-3 missions?

So I have tried the open conflict server, and I died, virtually, but not bad. Finally figured some stuff out, they do not seem to have a teamspeak server though. Really need my rudder though, should be here soon and then...

Well I found some missions, and they look the same, though they are marked Nevada and NTTR. Seriously, ED, what happened to our missions for FC3 and the NEW SU-27 missions. May we have them back and I do hope you produce more new training ones like the current SU-25T and the SU-27 as those are nicely done. If this is a bug how do I report it?

The update they did for the SU-25T and the SU-27 are great, but the new patch nuked the SU-27 training, I think it is back to 1.1 or something. I really hope they update all their planes as the new training videos are much better than the old ones.

Hi, In 1.5.2 you had some really good SU-27 missions, they were, to me, obvious upgrades to the previous versions, with some really cool missions, like flying through the gates. Also the upgraded training missions for the SU-27 was good. Will you be upgrading the training missions for the A-10A and F-15C? Those are lost since the upgrade, or I do not know where to find them. Can you put them back? Will you be making more of those new lessons for the other FC3 planes?
