u've probably done it but have you checked waypoint altitude and speed, the reason i mentioned the flights was it seems u can only put a certain number of flights on the same airbase, something like 5 or 6 and u get the spawn on the end of the runway and exploding thing, also i think it happens if you put a static object over where the game wants to spawn your plane

is it just your plane or do you have multiple flights coming off the same airbase?
