  1. I would literally give a body part just to see mavericks added. 1) they're already ingame 2) no tpod needed, can use seeker head 3) gives another option for AG and a good start for stand off weapons
  2. Anything new coming soon? apkws? Any news will we see these? jdam's ? Anything else?
  3. Noticed this as well i think we're starting to see an improvement on combat damage :D starting to notice a lot more system failures in the last few patches from damage.
  4. Why only one choice :( Would prefer to see the AA finished off with some form of radar IFF(TWS/LTWS) after or with that any form of stand off guided self targeted A/G would be nice ATFLIR Walleye Slam/er HARM Mavericks JDAM's
  5. Still doesn't fill me with confidence to be honest i'll give it a try, then promptly put it down again with the firm feeling of "its not ready." Unless it's as a bomb truck, hoping the hostile/friendly RWR changes will help a bit more with SA but until it gets some form of radar assisted IFF tracking and it can tell me that the target i have locked is 100% hostile, she stays parked more often than not.
  6. Anyone downloaded yet to check ? Seems a bit lack lustre after the video and mini updates maybe sneaky add like the 120 was.
  7. We would need the Harrier II+ it carries the same radar as the hornet but would give the capability for Harpoons, Harms and 120's as well as an extra set of pylons for a larger weapons load. I think i read somewhere on the forums that the II+ (GR7/GR9) was being considered or already in development by razbam but on the back burner at the minute i suspect a lot of work is hinging on ED to complete the Hornet radar and it's associated ground modes before this can happen. https://www.airforce-technology.com/projects/harrier/ and if we ever did get the II+ would it be included in the current harrier module or as a separate module (cough discount for current harrier owners? )
  8. Is the damage model still a bit wip? Started to notice after varying degrees of hits received that systems seem to take almost no damage barring the obvious control surfaces falling off. I've yet to see any noticeable form of system failures, leaks, fires, engine damage and shut down, electrical failures, hydraulic failures etc
  9. Would love to see the skipper II as well loved this thing in BMS
  10. I'll be happy as long as we get a carrier where i don't fall through the deck when i taxi over the elevator.
  11. i've just picked one of these up as my 5770 seems to have developed an overheating issue. Slightly over the £100 budget but you get your 2 gigs with a slight boost on clock speed over the 5770. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-156-EA&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=1576
  12. loved the original when i was younger can't wait for the new one http://www.carriercommand.com/

  15. 3 minute repair is automatic, just have engines shut off, all systems will reset once its complete e.g completely cold nothing turned on. completely understandable about real life, sometimes it's better to just give it another try with a fresh bird so you know it's not you.
  16. Well 2 options really, you've either snapped the shaft like alpha said in which case just shut down and wait 3 mins to repair, or b) wait until the engine is completely shut down all gauges have stopped moving then attempt to restart or third option new whirlybird and try again. Forget about the rotor brake if you have one engine started thats fine. As for a warning you will actually see depending on how far into the startup you are (e.g ekran systems turned on) a warning message of some sort generally about transmission .
  17. lol my bad, only had a screeny to go by when i was checking- corrected :p

  19. sounds to me like your trying to start the right engine before the left has finished spooling. keep an eye on ur engine rpm, when the rpm needle hits 70% your usually safe to start the right engine. Or just under the engine selector there's a green light marked "START VLV" it lights up when you start the engine or apu, if you flick this over before it goes out, then the other engine will start to crank. so either wait for the engine to fully spool up or wait for the light to go out before hitting the RH engine.
  20. Awesome dude nice work :D
  21. hmm think i remember that one :p
  22. Happy Birthday matt!
  23. Its not bad, my copy turned up on monday - SP is good accept the missions are heavily scripted and AI can be a bit annoying if you don't hit the trigger zone correctly -i've not tried mp yet though will post up a few screenies a bit later :)
