Just giving a community update. Our group is growing and the door is still open for a couple more pilots. We fly every sunday at 3pm EST. 4 of us fly VR. we use a FB page to plan events etc... please email me here P51Sundays@yahoo.com if interested.

Hopefully someone here knows whats going on. My computer was built to recommended specs for the Rift. My card is a gtx 970. I can load a single player mission while using VR no problem. It does take a bit to load...longer than with just my monitor. but when i click on multiplayer i see the list of available servers but when i click on one the only thing that happenes is the music stops playing. If i try to start my own server same thing. the only thing i can do is hit the X in the upper right corner. I hate that i can't use it in multiplayer. I can't figure out why when i can load and fly a single player. I've only had the rift a few days but this has been the only problem i ran into except for the additional usb card i placed in it. But that caused conflicts and i couldn't even fly single player while using the new usb. Anyway anyone else ever had or have this this problem? Thanks.

I'm excited about the interest level. And yes real life happens so no one would expect everyone to show up every Sunday. So again give me a shout here. No need to wait a few weeks. There are onlt two of us right now. And we both enjoy just kicking the tires. So we will have no problem helping you learn the aircraft. Toma is a better pilot than I am. I more of the mission builder, but enjoy the flying as well. So jump on in with us. the main thing is making new friends and just having fun, not how good you are.

So to be upfront i am looking for like minded pilots who enjoy flying relaxing but entertaining P-51 missions. Myself and one other get together Sunday afternoons typically around 3pm EST. And fly just for the enjoyment of simple missions. I make the missions. My missions last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours tops. I make them somewhat easy so even if you get shot down I'll have another plane with your name on it already in the air so you can get back in the action without taking off again. My last mission as an example consisted of myself and my friend Going after two transports. Easy targets. Then a few 109's would intercept us on our way back home to land. We then concentrate on one of us taking out the enemy and the other watch the other's back. Then land. I also enjoy eye candy. so typically add a lot of ground action during the start up and taxi time. Once i make a mission. We would play it, ill get input on how to male it better or more fun then i will end up with a completed mission. Usually have a new mission once per month to play. Right now all we use is world 2.0 and the vagus map. Sorry. If any of this sounds interesting we are looking for just a few people to join our sunday mission day. i guess post below any questions you may have and if you are interested. i will pm you my email address for those who are interested. I should say I'm only moderate for mission building. And the both of us are middle aged. So please no one that likes to curse a lot. Hopefully we can add 3 or 4 people to our sunday ritual ; ). How do you convert wav to ogg?

Hey everyone. This may have been answered already, but i looked and could 'nt find an answer. i have downloades some wav files. But i think they are to big to use? I wanted an air raid siren to play using a trigger of approaching bombers. but it won't play in test or in game. Is there a file size limit? And if so, is there another way to use a small wav sound. if its bigger then say hello it don't play lol. Thanks for any assistance.

Thanks for the quick response. I figured it out. You have to go to AXIS assign, by default it has joyslider 1. this needs to be deleted. then press add, move your throttle up and down, and the result is joy_Z. Now it works. I had to do this in both, a10 game and sim. I hope this helps others.

Hello everyone. Short question. I have a Saitek ST290 Pro. Everything works on the controller correctly except for the throttle slider. The game makes me use the + and - keys for the A10C. I've tried going into the control panel, and pressed add under both throttle and moved the slider up and down with no luck. Any ideas how to fix this. thanks. More history. I had the full A-10C on my comp, before DCS World came out. Throttle worked correctly then. It was when I uninstalled DCS A 10c and then installed it into World that I started having this problem.
