MacFevre, I plan on doind a UFC build as soon as my double sided copper blank PCB boards show up. I will be trying out eagle cam. I am going to try surface mount LEDs and i got a 100 pack of tactile switches off ebay. I'll keep you updated. I will be running across the same issues. I have 1mm end mills and .8 and 3mm drills for all of the holes. I plan on using a Teensy 3.1 or a arduino Uno for mine. I still need to figure out how to get the master caution light to work. I'll worry about that later. Here is a video of someone else with the same machine I have. Seems to work awesome!

Glad you like! I need to get some acrylic for the face, reinforce the mount and get some appropriate hardware. Not sure what to do about the LEds yet. Might let the end user sort that out.

Deadman, Any idea of when you will be releasing your great book of A-10C references? I am looking to start my panels and am looking for the most accurate measurements. Also I have been working on some firepulls for Macfavre and they are a pain to print on a 3D printer. : ) Good luck! Hopefully the resin casting will work out better.

Nice. I dont think I would have the patience to solder my own ribbon cables.... : ). I think I'll be buying just the PCB mount part and buying complete cables. Edit. It seems you can get press in connections?

Meshcam Looks to be pretty good for the price. Yea I've been messing around with cut 2d and it seems it will get panels and 2d stuff done.

I was planning on using Linux CNC but I have a USB CNC so i will use mach 3. Pycam for my toolpaths for now. You can run free trials of pretty much all of the major Cad/Cam programs now days. Ill post more tomorrow.

I am waiting for mine. Ill gladly share anything I learn. What software will you be using?
