  1. Ahh! got it.... You were confusing me for a second. I think the only way around that would be a Mechanical geared solution or higher res hall effects. Both would be a lot of work. How would your stick move left and right?
  2. I am working on an adjustable piece that will limit movement. Ill post when I come up with something.
  3. HAHAHA! These will be sold out by the end of the day! hahaha.
  4. Yes I wish I had a home depot.... I did just brainstorm up and adjustable spring tension device! So I must begin work ASAP!
  5. No local home depot. : ( I'll just have to ask around. I know some guys who know some guys! :smilewink: If not I'll just come up with a jig in the garage.
  6. This will be my next project. The 90 degree adapter for a helo cyclic and a 45 or so for the bottom. I just need to find a reliable and consistent way to bend my pipe.
  7. Yes, I have tested with adjusted curves in game and it works out pretty good. I adjusted my curves to allow me to hit both my knees and have it just reach full travel at that point. Works pretty good. I think I will develop a stopper to be able to adjust the desired travel. This design gives more realistic stick travel than just moving the gimbals up. It's up to the user what they like best. Note that it would be best to have a chair with the cutout for stick travel. otherwise you will find yourself hunched over a little bit. Thanks again for input hitman!
  8. Roughly 12 inches. I haven't measured yet. These new nylon pieces are real strong! I pushed pretty hard to the gimbal limits and didn't want to push any harder. I wouldn't worry about them snapping off with normal forces. I an thinking of trying some hydraulic dampers instead of springs... I'm curious!
  9. Here are the nylon parts. I am confidant it will take a small child running at a good clip to take these out.
  10. Just getting into video editing doing some testing.
  11. I wouldn't want to slam it into the gimbals limits for any reason!:) You can move it as fast as you want. Like I said though if you slam it into the limits the force would probably snap it right off. I am working on a nylon version that should increase the strength greatly.
  12. Thanks for the TIP!
  13. Prototype #1 complete ABS plastic. 25inch tube height. May be a little tall.
  14. No news is good news : )
  15. Cutting the pipe for extensions today. What kind of heights are you all looking for. I should hopefully have a prototype for the collective adapter later today as well.
  16. Almost done with my base warthog extension test. I will be making them out of nylon. They will be much stronger than ABS. I will also be making a 90 degree adapter for use with a collective. I am also working on pricing a CNC Mill so if there is any interest in these parts in all metal let me know.
  17. Any chance of releasing the project on github? Maybe others in the community would be willing to contribute? I know there are a lot of us out there that really appreciate your work and would like to help make this work for everyone. I wish I knew more about this stuff.
  18. That might be tough.... I can try but I am looking into a CNC mill so I will be able to make one out of metal hopefully withing the month or next.
  19. M36 x 2 is the thread. There is a gardena hose fitting you can buy. Yes that is an extension prototype I've been working on.
  20. I just placed an SA6 in the editor and have been playing my mission a few times. It definitely shoots!!!
  21. I have one of a slightly diffrent design. Ill get you some pics. yes I designed it for the pipe I have pictured but anything around that size should be acceptable. Shipping might be expensive. Not sure. I can look into it. The bearings and shaft are from McMaster Carr. I can include all of those as well. All the hardware except the pipe. I am working on the electronics still if you want to wait?
  22. Ok uninstalled. Cleaned out everything. Reinstalled. Changed port to 48102 in TARSEXPORT.lua changed port to 48202 on line 11 and 48102 on line 15. Seems to work now? Now If I can get one of my buddies to get it working! :) Running 64 bit TS3 3.0.11.1
  23. TARS update cycle scheduled at modeltime 1732.258 I am getting somewhere. Not sure if its the right way?

I have verified my TS version is 3.0.11.1 Is this causing the issues? I thought I had ..12 ONE more thing? Does TARS need to be installed server side?
  25. Yes, there was one that seemed to show it worked once..... Like the first time I ran it. Then the second time I tried and actually had someone to test with it did nothing. I will try uninstall and re installing it.
