Steam Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and Steam Specific Issues
Rincevent replied to ShaZe88's topic in Steam Support
Thanks for the thread, well deserved. Bravo  -
Right from wikipedia : Perspektivny Aviatsionny Kompleks Frontovoy Aviatsii, literally "Prospective Airborne Complex of Frontline Aviation" but I'm sure russian experts here will have a more "elegant" translation.

Thanks for the answer, that's what I thought. I will continue with ED's downloads and maybe put DSC World into Steam to get the Steam friend list anyway.

Hi so it seems that FC3 will never get to Steam due to legal obligations, except in certain countries. I tried a search but could not get an answer : Can I download DCS World and all my modules in Steam, download the FC3 module from ED, install and activate FC3 old-fashion once I launch DCS World in Steam ? Thanks in anticipation

Looking forward to this

I just had the breath effect in the SU-27 during hard pulls (pretty cool I must add), hadn't any in the A-10C.

DCS WWII: Europe 1944: Kickstarter Primer
Rincevent replied to luthier1's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
I curse you for seven generations Luthier. I have a job interview tomorrow and it WILL be difficult to say the least to concentrate on the interview while in the meantime all the Internet will be drooling on the terrain screenshots and all the exciting announcements you kept in your bag. I will back this project day 1 nevertheless and I am really excited about what could come out of it  -
I heard that plane can do anything and that there is even a coffee machine aft the seat. But it's a stealthy coffee machine, so it's hard to see it clearly on the vids :megalol:

Yep, me too. I could not count the number of hours I spent away from flight sims because of Operation Flashpoint. I just loved the cold war crisis mood. It's too bad Arma 3 doesn't succeed for the moment (at least for me) to recreate such a tense atmosphere.

Really nice art you got there, your skin is promising, I look forward to see it completed.

GTX560 here, alt-tabbing makes the clouds disappear for a second, but they reappear after that. The colored fringe becomes black after the alt-tab.
-
Nice photo GGtharos, I love the effect the weathering is giving. I wish I had the Photoshop skills and time to make a skin like that for my F-15C.
-
I have those colored fringes also (and only in the P-51), they appeared recently, I think that was after the patch before the current version. I did not try the Alt-tabbing, will report the results.

Sorry to bring this offtopic, but as I said, you need to read a bit more. Of the 35 battles that took place between 1337 and 1453 ( The 100 years war), English won 18, French 17. I fail to see how this can be called "annihilation". And I also fail to see the relevance with the topic of the Rafale HUD video.

Russian Air Force Photos and Video (NO DISCUSSION)

Do you know what happened to that poor Bear ? -
Don't want to sound harsh and vengeful given my nationality, but this joke is getting old. You should stop trusting the Internet and begin to actually educate yourself about the French military and history.

The new French ACT (Avion de Combat Tactique, literally "Tactical Combat Aircraft") was required by the French Air Force and the French Navy to be an omni-role fighter (that is Air to Air and Air to Ground at equal capabilities) right from the start, even before the discussion between UK, France and Germany begun. @Kaktus29 : the stepping-out by France has nothing to do with not sharing military secrets or whatever of the sort. France wanted a fighter that could replace the 7 types of plane in service in the FAF and FN in the seventies by a unique fighter, wich was not achievable with the initial EF project. The French President François Mitterrand in the eighties even tried to revive cooperation with the countries involved in the EF in term of sensors and electronics.
