you simply don't play with your food in France. Food is serious business :megalol:

The F-104 was not a great success also. Poor range, poor load capacity, no bad weather / night capability. And a sadly high record of crash (30% of German F-104 and 46% of Canadian F-104). It only lasted 9 years in the USAF inventory (though I may recognize because it may be more of a doctrine problem than a capability problem a that time). ON topic : I'm glad new 3rd parties join the dance. The more the better. I don't think I will be a day one buyer of the F-35 as I don't really like the idea of flying a big computer opposed to flying a plane (yes, I miss the old analog gauges that make what a plane is). But all the luck to Kinney Interactive with their product. And to all the haters : chill, let the guys deliver and see how it turns. If you don't like it, don't buy it, simple as that.

Wow, can't wait to be able to draw real serious scientist stuff with my multi-million dollars rover like Curiosity did :

Thank you for the clarification Matt

You can see in this image at another angle that it is a single piece of hardware, the bottom part is a wrist-rest. And you can see there are additional controls between the two "parts" of the throttle (24 total for the throttle).

Why do mountain and hill tops seem so unrealistic?

Edge will feature DX11, so if you current card can handle DX11 games well, that should do. -
Hey what is your system and how much fps did you gain after this mod ? Will try this soon. Thanks !

Yep the movie was terrible, the nice Mirage sequences (excepting the few CGI ones that are meh) do not save the thing. The comic it is taken from was way better (Tanguy et Laverdure, from Charlier and Uderzo edited from 1959 to this day), there was also a TV show, airing in the sixties or seventies in France.

Next DCS (Russian) Fixed Wing Aircraft Wish List
Rincevent replied to Milene's topic in DCS Core Wish List
This is the moderator job. I think ED is reading some of the boards, but I don't see them wasting their time merging topics everyday. Belsimtek released the Huey, not Eagle Dynamics. You have a point. Sort of. But Rome wasn't built in one day. There are clear signs of movement in the good direction and ED should receive some positive feedback for that instead of the constant bashing about what is not there yet. Because the important word in my last sentence is "YET". -
Military and Aviation News Thread (NO DISCUSSION)
Rincevent replied to topol-m's topic in Military and Aviation
It must be to them as Moshe Ya'alon (Israel Defence Minister) declared that the deployment of S-300 is a clear threat to Israel. And remember I'm not expressing my opinions here, I think you missed the "when one assumes Israel point of view" part in my original reply. The whole Hezbollah excuse may be just what it is, an excuse. But it is not the place here to discuss it anyway. -
Military and Aviation News Thread (NO DISCUSSION)
Rincevent replied to topol-m's topic in Military and Aviation
I don't want to go into politics as I don't have nor want to express an opinion on the matter, it is a simple question of military strategy. S-300 deployed in Syria would prevent Israel from conducting raids against arms transfers between Syria and the Hezbollah, and when one assumes Israel's point of view, that is a threat. -

You can't be serious. I hope you realize that this poll was not posted by a member of ED staff. -
Exactly. I don't know what people find so cool about this "engine". Can't even call it an engine as it's only a shiny tech demo and still has to prove it can be used in an actual game. I'd rather have AFM + 6-DOF cockpits on all of my FC3 aircrafts with Lock-On graphics than Outerra-Style graphics and mediocre gameplay features because the engine can only provide eye-candy.

Thanks ! that was my first guess but never saw a brake chute on a F-16

What is this container for ?

I thought the petition for the US to build a Death Star by 2016 had been answered by a polite no . Apparently the Russians took the idea to their own :megalol: For those who wonder : https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/response/isnt-petition-response-youre-looking I found the answer was quite witty.

HUD diamond target marker in Instant Action mission
Rincevent replied to Fishbreath's topic in Su-25T Issues
Thank you for this piece of information. I should get my a** strapped more in the T-Toad cockpit. I second you on the super-human AI. They can detect ground targets from 20nm+, I feel like I'm flying with Terminator... -
HUD diamond target marker in Instant Action mission
Rincevent replied to Fishbreath's topic in Su-25T Issues
Might be wrong because I do not tinker with the 25-T much, but I'm pretty sure the diamonds are emitting targets detected by the Fantasmagoria pod. So you won't have those diamonds if you do not carry the Fantasmagoria pod or if there are no active anti-air defenses in the area (by anti-air I mean radio emitting systems). -
I'm more or less on the same boat as you, but it can be confusing nevertheless. See how Sega and Gearbox are facing law suit, mainly because the final product does not correspond to what had been advertised. And we are only talking about the graphic engine, not even functionality here ! source : http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/05/01/sued-from-orbit-gearbox-sega-facing-aliens-lawsuit/ Not saying that people should try to get ED on court for that, but, you know, people tend to have their finger too close to the trigger around here these times :smilewink:

Well so far so good, I never encountered a case where playing again from a saved track caused me trouble, however I do not have sufficient authority in the matter to make an absolute answer.

RCtrl + W to fast forward and RShift + W to come back to normal time. I guess, doing that from memory. (might be RCtrl + Z and Rshift + Z on an qwerty keyboard, I'm on an azerty keyboard). But thanks Wolfk33, I should have mentioned that right from the start.
