TacView suddenly does not fill 3D Window
Vyrtuoz replied to JaBoG32_Prinzartus's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Tacview.dat Hi Prinzartus, You need to properly unpack and install Tacview.dat (this is the landscape) in the same folder as Tacview.exe. Also, ensure that your downloaded archive is not corrupted. -

Hi GG, What do you mean by measuring tool, can you give me an example? Regarding Tacview, as you know, I took some rest. :smilewink: But the project is going continue: I already added events filtering capabilities. I’m now going to do minor fixes and improvement before adding a tool to display and compare altitude, speed, etc. using curves. -

Tacview 0.85 – 'Squadron edition'
Vyrtuoz replied to Vyrtuoz's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Bad video driver If the compass is not properly displayed (typically a grey square) then this is a problem related to your OpenGL driver. (It means that you are running the old Microsoft software OpenGL renderer...) Notice that beta releases of Windows Vista may not offer proper hardware support for OpenGL. (This will be fine in the final release) -

Hi Chizh, Yes there is types defined for bomb, rockets, … But actually, only guided weapons are declared into LUA world-objects list. -

Vyrtuoz replied to Vyrtuoz's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Improving LUA export capabilities I'm confident that would be pretty easy to do. It's up to ED team... (I already done requests by the past, but they never replied...) -
Tacview 0.85 is available! You can now export the flight log in XML format. This enables squadrons to do statistics. (Remember that missing information about air-ground unguided weapons are due to Lock-On. Tacview cannot guest theses data...) Obvious bugs are also fixed and vertical speed is now displayed in s/min or ft/min. You can find all explanations and links on the official web page: http://tacview.strasoftware.com Next version is not planned before long so I hope you'll enjoy this one! Vyrtuoz

Tacview - ACMI Software for Flaming Cliffs
Vyrtuoz replied to Vyrtuoz's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
It’s only because LUA does not support binary files... Anyway, in the next version you will be able to convert every flight recording into compressed binary file from Tacview like planned. You can also tweak UpdatePeriod en tacview.lua to decrease sample rate at the expense of quality to reduce text files size. -
Cyrillic characters Hi Boon, Sorry to reply in English, but I don’t speak Russian yet... Actually Tacview support any characters, but export.lua does not handle that properly. I'll try to fix that as soon as possible. Can someone share me a mission file (*.mis) which include every Cyrillic characters in some pilots names? Thank you

What improves the Black shark expansion?

Here a good reason to upgrade: If you want to use my ACMI, you actually need to fly with FC or BS :P -
Tacview - ACMI Software for Flaming Cliffs
Vyrtuoz replied to Vyrtuoz's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Any question? Hi guys, here some answers: Ribbon trail is already planed (be patient ;) ) May be, I will add a free camera Additional window functionality was cut (for now). (Because it is more difficult to do than it appears) Except for the local player, Radar and ECM information are not known at all (may be in BS?)For the guys who don’t have the landscape, is Tacview.dat in the some directory than Tacview.exe? If it's the case, can you give me the precise path of your installation? (May be a download manager has corrupted your zip archive? then try without) -
That's it! The first public version of my ACMI is available! This powerful tool will enable you to record any flight... To review, analyze and understand what really happened! Find complete explanations and links on the official web page: http://lomac.strasoftware.com/lomac-acmi.php Take time to read all explanations and to test before posting any comment and suggestion on this post. Have a good flight! Vyrtuoz PS: Thanks to Azrayen, Doug, Ezor, GGTharos, MajorBug and all other testers for their feedback during the play test.

Actually, Lock-On does not declare any building to the ACMI (it’s understandable). So I’m only able to display ground vehicles for example. May be, I will add later a feature to enable you adding 3D blocks into the ACMI world to represent any static target you want.

Soon The first public release is now officially planned in less than two "more" weeks ;)

Screenshot Here a small one:

Soon I hope I will be able to release a first public version in about two weeks.
