Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for but you can go to your Settings>Controls>AH-64D Pilot or AH-64D CP/G, select a column heading such as Keyboard and select Make HTML from the buttons along the bottom. There may be an easier, more accessible list somewhere that I'm unaware of.

So, I purchased a mission just to see if there was a difference. To pay for the mission, the process took me through Sagepay, which had all the regular options including PayPal. When I try to pay for the Persian Gulf map, I'm directed through Saferpay, which has options only for Visa and Mastercard.

No PayPal option here either.

Option to set world scale / Enlarge / Reduce (airplane)
bthrun replied to misoswan's topic in Virtual Reality
It's perceptual. I'm not saying DCS world scale is incorrect. If you know how to adjust ICD in DCS and get the results we'd expect, please post a procedure. -
Option to set world scale / Enlarge / Reduce (airplane)
bthrun replied to misoswan's topic in Virtual Reality
It's not a problem that is limited to DCS. As misoswan stated, other VR programs have implemented the ability to adjust scale. Also, you may be right in assuming most people don't have this problem, but you may also be wrong. In this thread at the time of this post, four of the seven people posting are experiencing the problem. -
reminder of what I was missing --and vr snap zoom q
bthrun replied to wingsuit's topic in Virtual Reality
I don't know if it's currently possible, but yeah, I'd like it. Or the ability to map it to an axis so we could zoom to any amount as fast or slow as we need. -
Option to set world scale / Enlarge / Reduce (airplane)

I think it's necessary. -
Flyinside for P3d and FSX also has a world scale setting. I'm sure DCS will get something similar. There may already be a file that controls this, but I cannot find it. Stereo.lua doesn't seem to do anything. I've changed all the variables, removed the file, tried creating a MonitorSetup folder in the Users/.../Saved Games/DCS/Config folder and copied it there, but nothing changes in game.

That's not the problem I'm having. If I move the viewpoint so that I'm sitting in the pilot's chair instead of over it, my eye level is at the copilot's shoulders, maybe a little lower. The pedals are still far out of reach of where my real feet would be. The problem is world scale.
-
Have you found a solution to this? In the Huey I feel like a five year old. I wouldn't be able to reach the collective, let alone the pedals, and the un-adjusted view feels like I'm sitting in a child's booster seat on top of the pilots seat. Changes to the stereo.lua didn't have a noticeable effect.

Thanks! Changing my password to one without special characters fixed my login issues.
-
Unless I'm missing something it looks like there isn't a way to change the store/game password without going through support options, so I'll just wait for the update.
-
I'm getting "incorrect login or Password" as well. There were special characters in my password so I tried resetting it. I'm guessing it takes a while to propagate, because my non-beta install still needs the old password and the 1.5 install continues to accept neither.

Public inquiry. What is your PC video card?

Up to this point in the thread I've been kind of circling in on what was causing my problems but couldn't pinpoint where my error was. My first dozen or so attempts were failed because of stupid mistakes, then I was having intermittent success which felt random. Thanks for helping me find what was happening. My problem was #3. Apparently sometimes I wouldn't begin centering the stick until 170-190, which usually ending in the result you describe.
-
I'm also wondering about this. I have no interest in having two installations but would like to pre-order.
-
I would like to know the answer to this as well. I received my DCS P-51 key at the close of the kickstarter campaign but have not used it as I already owned that module and was intending to give it away eventually. The DCS fw190 was also part of the original rewards at my donation level. Is it now a choice between the hard-copy manuals, alpha access and the DCS modules? I could be wrong but it seems like these were all included in the original reward configuration. It's not really a big deal, I'm just curious.

Thanks anyway. I tested it again and it now seems fine. Probably just me.

I updated yesterday before starting and tested the new flight model then, and today it is still working as expected when I start a fast mission. It feels like the old FM in the training landing solo practice mission. It's possible I'm going crazy though.
-
This may be a bad place to post this, but I didn't think it deserved a new thread. I may be losing my mind, but I was just flying the landing practice training mission and after crashing a couple times I started to wonder if the game was using the old flight model somehow. I was having a lot of difficulty losing speed and altitude at a controlled rate, and during hover and taxi I was all over the place. so I generated a fast mission and had no problem landing relatively safely multiple times, and hover/taxi and flight were as I expected for the new FM. Has anyone else experienced this? I really doubt it's true, but it sure felt like it.
-
Thanks for the update, I like it. The old FM was fun and challenging. This new one is fun and challenging too, but now I can scan the horizon or read the instruments and fly without worrying about gaining/losing speed/altitude or going too far off course. Takeoffs and landings are much more manageable. No need for curvature or saturation changes anymore.

Hi everyone. This is m first post, and the DCS models are my first real try at flight simulators. I'm really enjoying DCS world, and especially the UH-1H Huey. I've tried to avoid curves and saturation changes, but after a couple days of making no progress at all, I broke down. I'm currently using a Y saturation of 75 and a curvature of 10 on both pitch and roll and it's made a big difference. Using the trimmer much more, but I think that's helped as well. Would it be a bad idea to use saturation on the rudder, as it isn't affected by trim?
