Hey Guys - ok, so I'm running DCS 1.2.6...as mentioned above, I'm running WIN 7HE 64bit & 64bit DCS with NVidia GTX780. Since this is a case do I install Boulotaur2024 64bit Version into my DCS world folder with the DCS.exe file? Also do you know if I can use the SweetFX Configurator by Terrasque with Boulotaur's 64bit? I'm just trying to get my head around this and get is running on my rig...any help would be appreciated, please. thank you.

Hey Guys - I've read through the thread...I'm a bit of a loss on getting SFX setup on my rig for DCS. I've got a nVidia GTX 780 and running Win7 HE 64bit. How should I proceed with install please? What SFX Version should I use and where should I install please? thank you.

Hey Guys - is anyone using VAC with Flaming Cliffs 3 and would willing to link me a copy, please? I'm looking for a FC3 profile to build on...these's a few VAC profiles kicking about for FC and FC2, but they aren't really useful to build on, the comms menu is a lttle different bet the 3 different versions. thanks in advance!

Awdrgyjo - I did a transfer from one SSD that had my OS & DCS on it (never did I have it loaded on a reg HDD), to a dedicated SSD for DCS. I've had this particular rig since Mar 2013 and had not have any issues with my SSD stability my load speeds have been awesome with max settings and full terrain & textures loading bet 5-10 seconds and I'm very happy.

Hey Guys - the auto updater works fine, I did the latest update after I did the install and transfer as per above and it works fine. No need to worry.

Umm...Skate, I went into Computer Management and into Storage and did a NTSF Quick Format and it was good to go..then cut and pasted the ED Folder to the new drive & updated my shortcuts. Didn't do anything else...I should be good to go correct?

Morning Guys - Nate/SkateZ, worked like a charm! Did the install, the SSD came with it's own mounting bracket, did some cable management and spent some time to clean out my fans. Was up and running in 20mins after a quick format. Copy & paste did the trick - one whole SSD just for DCS! :thumbup:

If all's well, I'm looking to do the same also - but will hold out until EDGE is released.

I was thinking about doing a clean install on the new SSD, but I'm really hesitant to download all the files from ED gain...I have major issues with I did the initial earlier this spring, massive corruption with the files, via the mirrors and also the torrents. it took me 4 tries to call all the files installed correctly and error free....nervous laugh :noexpression:

Afternoon Folks - need some advise please, I currently have DCS World with FC3 & A10C installed on my C Drive, primary, that's a 128GB SSD. I've gotten a hold of a spanking new ADATA SX900 256GB SSD FREE! & would like to transfer my entire DCS folder to this new SSD, exclusively for DCS...it's the only sim/game on my rig. I'm doing the install tonight...I'll use the Adata software to do the migration. My question is, has any one done this migration before? would there any issues with getting future updates from ED properly migrating to the new folder on the SSD? I guess i'm a little concerned as DCS will not be on the primary C Drive anymore. The reason for all this is...i've only got about 25GBs left on my primary C Drive SSD, I've also got a 2TB WD regular hard drive...with nothing on it. Thoughts please? thanks in advance! Guys - I just ran into this issue last evening with FC3 on the F15-C & just saw this posting. My GEffects set to "SIM"...however, on hard-turns, break turns and banks I get the GEffect audio, but no "Blackout" Effects...even on Sustained High G turns, no blackout cues. Is this a know bug in the most recent update? Also, did the Wing Tip vapor trails disappear? I'll try to post a track tonight, if time permits

Confirmed - took me 4 to 5 tries to get a Fighter unit to be added to Quick Mission, each time.

Go for the Saitek Combat Pedals, best bang for the buck...smooth as heck with the DCS wares and easy to program, toe brakes and all.

Hey Guys - I'm having the same problem, in the F-15C, I land, taxi to parking area, shutdown, open canopy and use the Left ALT + ' and used the GUI to request for Re-arm & fuel...wait & wait....nothing happens...what am I doing wrong please? :(

An awesome piece of kit, money well spent, when combined with the Saitek Combat pedals. Have mine mounted and secure with dust covers :D

Blaster - I was looking at the the same card last week, it's quite a good card on the benchmarks, but I went instead for the GTX 780 as I wanted an upgrade right away...the shops in Toronto did not have the 770 in-stock, last week with the ACX Cooler. IMO...its worth the step-up if you have the extra funds....I was having issues with low fps on the AMD Sapphire 7850...swapped out for the GTX 780 and I'm running 75-85fps on Max settings, no issues...not even when I'm low and slow with the A-10C. BTW - Guys I'm looking to sell my Sapphire 7850, only had it since May 2013...don't have the box...but it's good to go, PM if interested.
