Well, Armed Assault is "Operation Flashpoint 2" from Bohemia Interactive, since they can't use the name, but Codemasters is also making Operation Flashpoint 2 (they kept the name). I wonder how close they will be and which one will be ultimately best. I think OFP 2 has nicely destroyable buildings etc. while AA is more like OFP 1.5.

Well, CS's problem is a big part of it's community. Lots of kids, they want to win and resort to hacking or exploiting. CS is good for reflexes and all, but it's too much Gung-ho or 1 man killing 20. I still prefer Tribes 1-2, OFP and BF2. :P

Some people should have sent a letter of complaint to the enemy forces about base raping. ;)

Don't forget to take movies of the races. :D I'd try to race you but there aren't enough solid objects to stop my debris... :P

I also got the X-52 after a looong time with my X-45. Unfortunately, it met it's end in a BF2 match while in practice round. The Joystick's base (the one connected to the spring that goes up and down) broke and it wouldn't stay centered. So I thought I'd get X-52. It's nice, less hard movement on the joystick but I preferred the X-45's rudder under the throttle, turning the joystick itself for rudder control in X-52 is a bit weird for me. Btw, it is just me, or every new Saitek HOTAS must be even more like a Christmas tree? :P X-36F and X-35T were nice in their black colour, X-45 got the blue, gray and orange happiness and X-52 could easily be a desktop lampshade of sorts. Yeah, turned it's lights off because after the first few hours, they were a little disturbing while flying for me. :D

It's a bit blurry for me. It's not an arcade game and it's as much a simulator as they can get on a PC. (maybe not as much as F4, as F4 concetrates on 1 plane, or X-plane that a few people say it's not fun :P) I also can't fly 100% of the time with a regs manual (but I do use full realism)I want to have some fun too. :)

Ah, I've never played any of the Ace Combat series. It's a nice line. :D
