Im am a fan of the prop driven aircraft almost exclusively but even I have some admiration for the first operational jet to see combat. With this aircraft on DCS almost guaranteed, will the jet only fans give this new venture a try just for the sake of the 262?Having a successful DCS WW2 can only mean that future conflicts be developed later like Korea or even Vietnam.Im not a jet fan but if those titles came I would support them and actually try to fly them.
Give this new title a try Im sure you wont be disappointed :)
Surely I uderstand your point and it makes sense for everything WW2 related but DCS WW2: Korea doesnt make any sense :smilewink: Hopefully the WW2 expansions will come first and by then you would have enough time to try and fix that small "issue"
Great thread and good logo Mazex. After a certain number of submissions we could have a poll to see what the community chooses and then Ilya could decide.
It has been confirmed by Ilya that the level of the detail of the aircraft in DCS WW2 will be the same as in DCS P-51.Also YO-YO who was the main guy behind the Mustang's flight model is going to work on the Spitfire flight model and supervise the other aircraft as well.
Thats exactly why most of us are voting for the Thunderbolt. It should be relatively easy to taxi, take off and land(wide undercarriage) when compared to the Spit and 109.Has the ability to ground pound :joystick: and can hold its own in a dogfight.Surely the most versatile and newbie friendly of the bunch.:pilotfly:
A cheap joystick is all you need to start diving into the aircombat sim world. There are various decent options like the Logitech Extreme at $30 or less.An XBOX 360 game pad in the other hand is close to $50 so I dont think that needing to buy a joystick should be a deal braker.
P-47 here as well, Im pretty sure the majority would have the same opinion.BTW I dont think this poll was premature at all, I myself thought about making this exact poll after reading today's update. This could help him choose.
