  1. Really nice Krupi, keep up the good work. Will you be sharing this skin with the Community, or is this a personnel use skin only? S!Blade<>< Edit: Nice pics in the Screen shot thread. What was that you were releasing from the underside of the FW 190???:detective:
  2. The pics posted in this thread are very nice guys, thanks to each of you for sharing them here. Common Gents, I know there are more of you out there in this Community that have some favorite pics of the Fw 190 d-9, especially from the DOW server and single player missions I am sure are being created and flown . Share them here please. I am looking forward to seeing what others are doing with, and to:music_whistling:, the Dora!!!:pilotfly: S!Blade<>< :joystick:
  3. FW190D9 Stab/Jagdgeschwader 4 Skin skin by Mainstay. What an awesome skin Sir. Thanks for sharing it. S!Blade<><
  4. I am sending you a PM with some ideas and some pictures I gathered for reference. I hope maybe you will decide to try weathering your creation! S!Blade<>< Edit: Well it seems I will have to leave that RAR file here for you Sir.Good luck, should you decide to tackle this mission. This Message will self destruct in 15 seconds! Weather.rar
  5. Mainstay, that is an awesome skin. Hope you are able share it with us soon, if you intend to. Would you consider making a heavily weathered version also? No insult intended, again this one looks awesome, but to me the heavily weathered version reflects the day to day grind of War look superbly. Again, no insult intended, very nice work. S!Blade<>< p.s. more pictures please? Post some here also. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=129009
  6. Thank you Charly_Owl for the hard work you put into this. I am printing the Dora guide now. S!Blade<><
  7. Post your favorite DCS Fw_190_D-9_Dora pictures here!!! S!Blade<><
  8. Well, I love the FW190, but my Takeoff/Landing to crash ratio has been rather embarrassing(about 97% crashes, is my guess:helpsmilie:), so, on my day off I have decided to do some trial and error testing. 1. Updated drivers for Saitek Pro Flight Pedals. 2. Made sure takeoff assist was at 0 and unchecked Rudder assist. 3. Went in Win_7 Control Panel and checked responses and set up Deadzones. This is where I saw a problem. My Toe Brakes were so sensitive that when I was applying Rudder, I was actually Toe Braking on that side also. Well the Deadzone adjustment wasn't doing what I needed, so, I left my usual Deadzone adjustment here and into DCS I went. Picture, 1 4. I Went into DCS Options and started adjusting for toe brakes and the rudder Pictures, 2,3,4, 5. I use a Thrustmaster T16000m(an excellent stick for 39.99 at Frys: free shipping) so I included my curves for it also. Pictures, 5, 6, My Takeoff/Landing to Crash ratio is 3 to 1, and I have only tried 3 attempts since these adjustments. By this evening I may even be semi proficient at this.:megalol: Anyway I hope this helps anyone using Saitek Rudders because my frustration was building rather quickly, but now I am starting to enjoy the Dora for the Fast Climbing/ Fast Diving Beast that she is!:pilotfly:I also attached a Track File of some of my mishaps and a couple of successful Takeoffs/Landings. If you let it play without changing views you can see the In Cock Pit control Inputs in the lower left corner. Some of it is pretty Comical. S!Blade<>< DCS FW-190 D-9_3_Successful_TO&LND.rar
  9. Sweet! Released on my day off. S!Blade<><
  10. +1 indeed it does. With this much attention to detail DCS: WWII Europe 1944 will surpass all other flight sims in faithfulness to reality, as best a 2d sim can. Thank you very much to all at ED, the Dora fly's very nice, it will be fun to learn to fight in her in do time. Would love to read or see a vid on the interview with Erich Brunotte. S!Blade<><
  11. Thanks to all at ED who are involved with keeping DCS: WWII alive and moving forward. Have chosen all planes and received numbers for both the P51 & the FW190. :pilotfly: How do I give away the P51 key?(I already own it) Just give the key to them and when they enter it, they own it from then on? S!Blade<>< :smilewink:
  12. Something tells me there is a Pacific Theater way down the road if DCS WWII goes well. Not only is there a P38(used heavily in the PT) and a F6 Hellcat(used almost exclusively in the PT(1200 Lend Leased to Britain, used in European and Mediterrainian Theaters, mostly recon) in the background but, the real interesting thing in one of the background pictures features a wooden deck Aircraft Carrier. Coincidence? Maybe, or maybe a sneak peek into well laid long term plans. Who knows? Just a thought. I know I would be all in for a DCS PT, as I am already an all in DCS WWII Europe 1944 KS supporter now. S!Blade<><
  13. +1 Everyone should just be happy that ED picked this up and that you are getting something. The other side to this would be an announcement: We are very sorry, RRG can not finish this project and we here at ED cannot financially assume the risk of finishing the project, so it is officially terminated and refunds are not possible because RRG has spent all of the KS funds. Please stop whining about 10$, I am at the 150$ level, and there isn't one, I am scaled back to the 140$ level. Big whoop, I don't get the free DCS product of the 160$ level and I don't get my 10$ back. I hope that little bit of money difference helps ED along with what they are doing to fulfill the project. S!Blade<><
  14. A smart decision ED. Customer Relations and Customer Service have really changed for the better. I have just had a very good and very quick Customer Service experience with a mistake that I made. I forgot I already had a copy of the Dora, got excited about presale, and purchased it through presale. A dumb ass mistake for sure, lol. In just a few days I received a claim ticket response that Mr. Borovik in Customer Service had refunded my money. This kind of helping a Customer, even if the customer made a dumb mistake, is what retains customers with the added bonus that I will advertise for ED and the positive experience that I have had, not to mention that I will purchase the next module they release as soon as it is available. Thanks ED. S!Blade<><
  15. Thanks Waggs and those at Ed that decided to pick the ball up and run with it, otherwise it would be game over and each of us KS supporters would be left holding the bag. It doesn't effect my rewards at the level I am at, but it would be nice if ED could revise the rewards and let those that are getting less than all of the modules choose which modules they want. I feel sure the powers that be at ED will see that this one little change will allow everyone that was a KS Supporter to be satisfied, even with the reduced rewards. Thanks again to all at ED who committed to seeing this project through, I hope it is very lucrative for you in the long run. S!Blade<><
  16. I would love to , but my MB does not support SLI. This is not an option for me. S!Blade<><
  17. I cannot keep my GTX770, I have to turn it in and pay about 125.00$ to step up to the GTX780. The memory transfer rate is slower, but the memory band width is greater plus's the 780 has many more Cuda Cores . I am still not sure what I will do? S!Blade<><
  18. I have 25 days left to decide whether I should upgrade from a : EVGA GeForce GTX 770 4GB Dual FTW w/ EVGA ACX Cool, PN 04G-P4-3776-KR to a EVGA GeForce GTX 780 6GB w/ EVGA ACX Cooler PN:06GP4-3785-KR It would cost me about 125.00 to make this upgrade. I only use a single 2560x1440 monitor, so I know I don't need 6gb memory, but I do not want to step down to the 3GB memory of most of the EVGA 780 cards. I guess my question is, from what I have read, I would get about a 25% Graphics Processing increase. Is that worth it? Are there any Tech Heads still around that could share any info and/or advice on this? S!Blade<>< Edit: At 699.00$ the GTX780 Ti is out of my price range.
  19. I would recommend you upgrade your Gtx770 to 4 Gbs. I have just moved to 2560x1440 and the the Gtx770 4Gb and I have been playing around with it and watching framrates and memory use, and I have seen 2.48Gbs used in some missions. Some say that the more GPU memory you have, that more of it will be used just because it is available. I Just wanted to share this with you as it seems more and more computer games are using higher and higher GPU ram. Good luck. S!Blade

I have read quite a few threads like this on several Forums, and I haven't found to much technical knowlegde in them. Here is what I am looking at. Asus VG278HE http://www.asus.com/us/Monitors_Project ... fications/ I sit about 27" from my current monitor. I have my resolution set in Nvidia Control Panel as a custom resolution at 1776x1000 60hz 32bit 16:9 . Please don't ask me why, as it has been pointed out that my Native Res is 1366x768. I was researching and playing around with resolutions, and found this to be the best picture with good performance that works in all Flight sims for me(even DCS World, LOL). (at least 30fps, up to 80Fps) I have a good picture on my Vizio now, but obviously by looking at a true Computer monitors specs, I am guessing that I will have a much better picture with a high quality monitor???? I understand my AMD Chip is not cutting edge technology, but I am looking for the monitor that will still deliver good FPS while delivering a High Resolution. I want a 26 or 27" monitor, but would 24" be more efficient for my System? Keep in mind that I am 50 years old and my eyesight is ok now, but it is not getting any better, LOL. Realistically, 500$ is my upper limit +/- 50$ 1. 1920x1080, 1920x1200 or 2550x1440? Which will my system be able to handle realistically? Which is best suited to Flight Simming. No Multi-Monitors for me. 2. 60hz or 120hz+ ? My main concern is 2D Flight Sims with a very remote 3d interest. 3.Which Panel Style will my system handle efficiently? TN , VA , IPS 4. Depending on panel style, what is min/max response/MS recommendation ? 5.Pixel Pitch? It seems .311mm is Common? I know there are a lot of questions here, but i would really appreciate any technical expertise that anyone might share with me. Thanks in advance. S!Blade<><

  22. Very nice, Congrats Luthier & RRG. I am anticipating very good times on this ride called DCS WWII: Europe 1944!!!!! S!Blade
  23. Luthier1, I just looked at the flyables and neither the P51 nor the FW 190 have an option titled DCS P51 OR FW 190 versus DCS WWII P51 OR DCS WWII FW 190? Did I miss something here, lol??? No big deal, but your response is a little confusing to me? S!Blade Edit: the DCS P51 & FW190 are available in the reward choice section. I have seen the light.=-O
  24. Just wanted to say thanks, the rewards page worked perfectly well for me after I filled all the required fields. Keep up the good work, hope the Jug specs get sorted soon. I have read of some in this Community and other Communities that want to help but maybe have not seen the invitation and an open channel to help with specs or other aspects of the development of your project. It might be worth making a Sticky to open a thread for Community members to post help where we can in the areas that development is struggling with. Just a thought? I am looking forward to all of these planes being added and flying in and against them. Keep up the good work gents!!! S!Blade
  25. Fifi, you are such a Kiss Up! And to think you missed the sale and still have already bought 4 Modules. I think I have created a DCS Monster here. You had better be watching the mail closely for the Visa monthly statement and pay it quick before the Wife sees it! :megalol: Blade<><
