  3. 2 possibilities : OFP2 got renamed as OFP1, which is not uncommon. OFP2 simply were prototypes which never had any industrial success.
  4. For the range I think IRL difference is quite thin and more likely ot be explained by the mass difference between both warheads. I don't think they modified the engine etc as the general soviet idea of warfare is to produce fast and simple. But aerodynamics of both rockets are not the same in DCS because of the weight difference, as you need to set up your ballistic rotactor to 4 instead of 0 for ofp2. But again, well, KOM in their current state simply are dead weight to carry. Even OFP2 actually lack a lot of punch compared to IRL results (but this applies to every ground ammunition in game). You need to train a lot, on my side after countless hours of practice I'm able to put un full load of thel in a +-50m diameter circle from 2.5 km. Then they become effective on a convoy for example, but even with high accuracy, fact is that most vehicles are insanely resilient, like bmp serie for example. I would call the rockets the "cherry on the cake" more than an actually very efficient weapon. As said by another earlier, problem too comes from lack of detailed damage on a vehicle. An OFP2 exploding on an MBT will actually heavily damage it by destroying optics, canon, tracks and all the relatively fragile gear. Nicolas

  8. In DCS, none. Problem comes from a coeff of damage bonus in case of pen by the rocket, which is far too low, and so 3-4 S-8KOM are needed to set fire to a tank even if the code considers that they all went through the armor. So go OFP-2. KOM are globaly useless unless, as you said, aiming from 50 m and so be sure that many rockets hit your target. Else, for tanks, use vikhrs or API canon at low rang on the lower flank.

  10. For rockets, bombs effectiveness, you can use the script we made for frenchpack 3.5, it should give you a more realistic result without having to mod your core folder.

  12. Hi Stratos, I may in the end produce infantry units so perhaps yes for this kind of model, not sure at all though.
  13. Nan mais la script tu le mets où tu veux ça n'a aucune importance il faut juste qu'il soit lancé par un trigger dans lz mission.
  14. Yup vehicle ballistics use real datas, weight, diameter etc etc etc. Vehicles like leclerc too have complex armor scheme plate after plate.

  16. I have some ruskies assets too, but contrarily to FP they are not made by myself or in cooperation with other teams so i don't publish them.
  17. Yup I'm aware of that problem, as it is a dev version I didn't spend time on fixing it. There may be some other issues but nothing problematic (ie crash, fps, or visual glitch should never occur on this version, heavily used in my squad), only some lil details like this.

  19. Well, I was up to make a mission. Then I fist noticed that a tank would not move if placed in the forest to begin. So I wondered what happened... I then put them on the road. I mean. When on a videogame the AI can't do the most basic things without problems, then it is that there is a huge problem in terms of development. DCS is 20 years old now... 20 years. Still it behaves like a pure alpha product which would be developed for 6 months...
  20. Hi, Game crashes at least once or twice for each of my squad members on current OB on each missions. Aircraft used is the Kamov-50 but too happens with the Sa-342. Attached are 3 logs from two different players. Every player is hit by this problem.
