Figured nearly a month was enough to bump this again and see there has been any progress? Our group is still experiencing this on our mission. Seems an easy fix is to try another catapult. Then we get launched as normal. We've just got used to saying "Cat 1 is out of service! Moving to Cat 2!" :lol:

Military GPS receivers usually use two frequencies instead of one like most commercial receivers but commercial receivers DO exist that provide these capabilities. Point is, military and civilian receivers can provide the same accuracy today. Source

How long until the unobfuscated code is released? It'd be a shame if someone "unobfuscated" it and released that code...

We're still experiencing this issue randomly with our new Persian Gulf mission. In my most recent crash, I was in an airstart F-15 engaging a friendly predator JTAC and 2x hostile Mi-28's. I engaged the Predator with an AIM-7 successfully for a quick kill. I then turned to engage the 2x, already in range, Mi-28's. First one fell swiftly to an AIM-7. I then locked up the second Mi-28 and fired a AIM-9M. Approximately 1 second after the missile left the rail, my self hosted dcs server crashed with the attached crash log and the end of the attached dcs.log should show the lead up to the event. In other cases, when we host the exact same .miz on our dedicated server, we have it crash between 30 minutes to 6 hours with a Transport.dll error as well. Please let me know if providing the mission and/or scripts would help. It's only using Moose and a custom lua script that is around 150-200 lines. I am also having the same issue while trying to patch my 1.5 Open Beta install with the new hotfix.

Same behavior for me. After landing and rearming my RB-04's they do not fire on the 2nd flight.

Having some issues with timeouts for our Viggen clients on our Open Beta server. We have around 5-7 people that all own the Viggen get Connection Timeouts. I believe the error text is "Server Update Timeout". We get timeouts on all servers so it seems we're confined to single player for now? Been looking for others on the forums with the issue but can't seem to find any. Thought since it happens for us on other servers than ours and on multiple different user's clients, it wouldn't be an issue on our end but would be glad to be proven wrong. Thanks for any help!

You would run your text editor as admin. You don't actually "run" the text file. You run the text editor which "opens" and "writes" to the file. Hope this helps clear it up. Cheers.

I use a few different text editors such as notepad, gvim, and notepad++. For editing this file I used notepad++ and when I tried to save it, it said it would need to reopen as administrator to save. I would think notepad would have no problem editing this file. You'll know if you didn't run DCS as admin and needed to when you go to exit the mission and instead of the black window asking if you are happy with the mission outcome and the debrief window, you'll get a script error. Hope this helps!

You need to modify your file to look like the following. If you get access denied, open the file as administrator. You will also need to ensure that DCS is run as an admin. All you will be adding is a total of 4 '-' characters.

I just noticed this thread after I have been running the 0.91 F-5 campaign and the 0.92 Fishbed campaign. What are some of the biggest changes from 0.91 to 1.0?

Is Desert Tiger 76 v0.91 the latest released version? Perhaps link this file in your original post or the latest version to make it easier to find. While I'm sad you have currently discontinued the Mig-21 campaign, I'm excited to give the DCE for the F-5 and NTTR a try. Thanks for all your efforts Mbot!

Yes, The last modified from the last backup of my old save was from January of 2016, so around one year ago was the last time I tried it and it worked. Was gonna give the mission a try again but after playing it and loading it back up, the progress wasn't saved and noticed it had not created a new MDC_campaign_results.lua and I also ensured that the sanitize options were commented out as I'm also working myself on saving unit locations to a remote server for multiplayer games via TCP.

Recently we began hosting a server dedicated to running our DCS mission 24/7. The #SierraHotel dedicated server. I have this server setup to host the server publicly with port forwarding / firewall setup at my router. Everyone but me can connect just fine. I've never been able to see the server in the server list but have been able to connect up until recently for 30 second to a minute max before I would get kicked back to the server list with a "connection timed out" message. Now, unknown currently to me whether it's a new DCS thing or a modification I made to the firewall, I can no longer connect at all to the server. Does anyone else have experience running a DCS server locally on a LAN (not the same computer you're playing on) that's setup to be an internet facing computer? I'm kinda at a loss of things to try. Thanks!

I have this same issue. It detects new hardware even immediately after activating. I've tried the registry fix to no avail. I had 6-7 activations left when this all started now I'm down to 1. Cobra, Please help, you're my only hope!

I also would like to note that I'd gladly donate as soon as the link is posted. One big question I have, is will there still be A-10C TGP FLIR mode problems with this texture pack?

I understand that this is the official position but I would vote +1 that I would gladly pay for it to be maintained through official channels. Perhaps there could be an improved way that mods don't get broken on updates like they currently do as an alternative. Instead of CoreMods we could have SecondaryMods or something. I am aware about JGSME or whatever and use it but obviously the way official DLC is handled is preferred as it is a no hassle option. Not trying to disagree just stating my opinion.
