I use the mic switch for zoom, works perfect for that. And use the real mic commands at the same place but with modifier.

Hi, have we heard anything about a fix coming up for this?

If it makes you feel better, that mission is a pain anyway, even if you get the data sent its still a mess trying to get a finish. I killed what they asked me to, used my wingman, went back to base and reloaded and killed some more, still no finish.

I have seen maybe a hundred of these xzibit ones and this is the first one ive seen thats actually funny :D

Then I dont know :( I had the same problem as you did, ran that mission several times and didnt get any data sent. Then tried the ID thing and it sent me data. Since I still couldnt finish it even with data sent, I had to refly it several times again, so I got to test out the fix several times and it worked every time after that. I really though that would fix it for you aswell and you would finally get your red triangle :) But looks like you will have to wait for the patch.

Yes I got that too once, I set the ID at the ground at startup, but when I was up and about to check in with JTAC I took a second look under NET and saw that it had changed again. So try those steps again, but before you contact JTAC check your NET page to see if its still what you set it to, or changed.

In my own missions I always have Eagles on station, flying CAP, waiting for my orders :) My strategy is let someone else take care of them. I have never tried shooting down a fast mover, only helos. Its pointless to me to even try. If the mission doesnt let you call on CAP to help you (comms then F10) then I dont know. Bad mission design perhaps?

Yes works in first mission first campaign once I set the IDs. Yes I did the exact same thing, just a moment before contact with JTAC, it works everytime now. Are you sure you hadnt forgotten to switch on the SADL?

We just prefer realism, and you dont. There is not much out there for us realism fans. But there is plenty of unreal out there for you. So dont come here and try to ruin it for us, asking for unreal stuff and expect us not to react.

You have a point about the ai, but putting Air-Air missiles on, like you asked for, is against one of the most important goals of ED: Realism. It would ruin it for the rest of us to add weapons thats not really there just to make it easier for you.

I mean one person, from country A could be sayin CAN the exact same way as another person, from country B says CANT, on the same channel. Its a mess :D

Yeah thats all good, but doesnt help one bit when many of us are saying can and cant flavoured with our own personal accent since we are from different non english native speaking countries, talking over a mike :D I guess one could try to adapt a british pronounciation of cant, and exaggerate, maybe that would work. Or start saying "can not".
