  1. Is it possible for the developers to provide a map larger than they anticipated, say way North of London with correct terrain elevations and airfields of either grass or concrete with enough spawn points on each and then let the players who are mission makers populate each airfield as they need it for their missions from objects within the game? There are plenty of photos of of airfields from that period, especially in England, which show the orientation of the runways and the extent of the surrounding buildings constructed to support the men and planes. If the developers provide the skeleton of these airfields/strips, then the community can populate them as necessary. In this way the general map would already be approved by RGB and the developers but they wouldn't need to spend the very large amount of time putting in the essential details of every field, town and village. Even London itself could be "skeletonized" and the community could add what details they desire. We did this in IL2 and it worked out fine as long as the developers provide us with enough of objects (building and structure types) necessary for populating areas.
  2. When looking at an outside view, either by F2 or F4, is there any way to rotate the view via the mouse? It would help with an outside inspection prior to flight or when sporting a new skin that you want to check out.
  3. Is there a way after choosing the F4 key to be able to move the view around with your mouse? In this way you can inspect your plane before startup especially if you have a new skin and would like to see it from all aspects.
  4. Where can we find David's new mission "Home Invasion"?
  5. I'm new to DCS and the P-51 module. I am an experienced pilot within IL2 so I know how to fly the plane and land it. After I set up my X-52 for the Axis commands (of which I placed the brakes on one of the buttons) I flew and landed easily. After I stopped, I could not taxi in a straight line. It kept pulling in one direction. I thought maybe I had frozen the brakes on one side. Before I repeated the mission, I went into my stick profile and eliminated the brakes from my stick and used the default "W" key only and eliminated the right and left brake controls so that I couldn't ride only one brake. Same result. Now when I try to taxi from a cold start, as soon as I coast for any distance after getting the plane rolling, it pulls to one side and will not straighten even if the "W" key has never been touched. Any suggestions for correction would be appreciated.
