  1. This bug has been reported many times for over a year and there has been no effort by ED to fix it. The same goes for many other bugs such as object removal in which only the host has objects removed while your visitors can still see them. Get used to ED not listening to anything but the sound of your $$$ going into their pockets.
  2. That's an excuse that is used way too many times in this sim. How about finishing what you start, ED. Way too many "early access" reasons. The only early access they don't mind is our $$$$$$.
  3. Does your antivirus allow the game to let your friends connect?
  4. This problem has been brought up for many, many months with no help in fixing it from ED. Get use to it. It's their way of doing business. Take the money and run.
  5. We have complained about that for many, many months. Numerous reports were sent. ED developers are too busy making more modules with bugs to sell us than taking the time to fix something we already own. Get use to it. It's their way of doing business. Taking the $$$$$ and running.
  6. In your Saved Games folder. Make a sub folder titles "Static Templates" without the " of course and put all your stm files in that sub folder.
  7. My pleasure, Mr_sukebe.
  8. Why not just rename the "Mods" folder in your Saved Games folder to anything else for when you want the vanilla version and then rename it back to "Mods" when you want the modded version? Works every time.
  9. They don't get $$$$$$ for taking care of it. Only for selling you another bugged module.
  10. Can it be used for WWII scenarios with prop planes? Or is it just for modern day planes?
  11. Great idea, Captain, but I wouldn't hold your breath until the developers give it to us.
  12. It says a lot when the users find solutions to the problems the developers are supposed to fix. About as much when public modders supply things we ask for within a few days/weeks and they work perfectly with no bug.
  13. Suntsag, your mods have made DCS a fantastic sim. It's too bad ED can't do as well in adding what the public wants without years of waiting and then months of bug removal. And we pay for this aggrevation. Keep up the great work. It is truly appreciated.
  14. Great mod Sunstag. One point I realized is that you must have Russia in the same list as Germany and the Third Reich or some of the objects will be blue while others are red. I had Russia on the same side as the USA and the U.K. because there was one or two Russian objects used in other missions that I wanted on the Allies side. Once I made the change for a test mission using this mod, everything worked perfectly. Thanks so much for your brilliant efforts in making mods that make this sim so very much better than the developers limited imagination.
  15. It must take a lot of 3D resources to make sand.
  16. This mod works perfectly BUT once you've made the mission and saved it and flown it, you CANNOT go back into the ME and either adjust or change it, or the mission will not load in the ME. You'll need to go to Task Manager and end task of DCS. To fly this mission again, just start DCS and select "Mission" rather than ME and try to get into the mission from the ME. The same will happen when you've changed the P51 to allow it to spawn and fly from a carrier.
  17. Don't hold your breath. There are many, many bugs that have been reported for many, many months and ED just ignores them. But they always seem to be able to try and sell us another half baked module, loaded with more bugs for them to ignore all the while explaining that these are alpha or beta versions or that it's our hardware that's at fault.
  18. Just remember, though, it will only work for single player. If you've created a mission with this and fly it multiplayer, your friends will still see what you have removed. It is a bug that has been reported many, many times over the last many, many months and ED has ignored our requests to fix it.
  19. It's not the mod that is broken. It is something within the P51 that has changed and has not been reported as a change by ED. So when using the changed P51, the mod no longer works as designed. All they are asking is, "What changed in the P51?"
  20. The bug about no fuel in the drop and rear tanks has been reported many months ago and numerous times since then. ED spends time and manpower developing more half baked modules to sell rather than fixing reported bugs with their "beta" versions that they've already sold us. When you report a bug, they remind you that "it's a work in progress" but it never gets fixed.
  21. Don't hold your breath, boys. But if you want to buy another module, they'll have it ready ASAP. Of course, that will have bugs in it also.
  22. So we should continue to pay salaries for incomplete products? Like V-8's that have seven cylinders or 5lbs of potatoes but only get three. I'm not saying that the product has to be sold 100% complete or perfect but when any consumer follows your accepted reporting method of imperfections, the manufacturer should acknowledge the imperfection and then do their best to fix it. At least a reputable and honest manufacturer I would expect to do that rather than continually produce broken products to keep the dollars coming in.
  23. How would you like it if you were the owner of a company and you paid your workers for eight hours but they did only six hours work? Or your quality control head said your product was perfect and it fell apart in your hands? That is what a lot of us feel when we buy something from ED or they add something and it doesn't work. I'm not talking about performance issues which can vary greatly because of an individual's hardware. I'm talking about drop tanks that can't be used because they house no fuel, I'm talking about scenery removal that only works for the host and not multiplayer. I'm talking about the multitude of other issues that have been reported and nothing has been done about it while they continue to develop other modules and maps without fixing what they have sold us already. It gets frustrating to continue to read about all the others that have discovered issues and reported them for which ED just seems to ignore.
  24. How about just fixing the bugs that have been reported for months and months rather than trying to take more money from us by developing modules that aren't finished.
  25. Not a month or two but over one year and still no correction. But they still have more modules and maps coming out without repairing what we've paid for and reported as faulty. It's starting to get very very frustrating to the point I don't intend to spend one more cent on anything they offer until they repair what I've already paid for. If you go through the forum postings, you'll find many of these types of problems that have been reported and ignored by ED for many months or years.
