I know this topic has been covered a thousand times but I'm struggling to find a real comprehensive answer. I've been flying the Mi-8 for a short amount of time now, I don't have the Huey so I have no experience to fall back on in that regard, and I am struggling quite a bit with landing due to VRS. I suspect I am killing speed off too early and at too high an altitude and then trying to descend around 3m/s before I plummet to the earth...Repeatedly. Highly annoying. What sort of speed should I be looking to approach a FARP at and to what rate of descent? I've had a look on YouTube for some tutorials and what not but struggling to find what I am after in English! (Or if someone has a bit of time on their hands, would it be possible to write out a full procedure/checklist for approach?) Thanks, D

Fair point, I would like to stick to realistic load outs really so I try to follow these sort of rules anyway. Sorry to de-rail the topic.

Is it possible to see what you are referencing for that? I don't say it to second guess you, I would like to see for my own load outs :)

Hello all, I am currently using a TM T-16000m, which I enjoy using, I think for the money it's a good joystick so I would prefer not to have to change it. But obviously, I am lacking a throttle. I've had a look around and I have seen the Gametrix throttle but trying to get it in the UK gave me a headache. Which brings me to my question, does anyone have any suggestions for a stand-alone throttle? I know people will say get the X-52, which I am considering if I cannot get a throttle. Thanks. (Please don't suggest the Warthog, I know it's the best but I don't want to spend that sort of money..)

Hello all, I've been lurking around for some time, regularly checking the forums and other stuff. I am an avid Russian and Soviet military kit fan so that leads on to me saying the Su-25 is my favourite aircraft :) I play occasionally on multiplayer but it's not the same flying solo so I will have a look at some of the units knocking around.
