  1. Hi guys, I decided to make a special livery for the Yak to simulate our Brazilian Air Force Academy basic trainer, the T-25. The Neiva N621 Universal is a Brazilian propeller-driven basic trainer and ground attack aircraft manufactured by Indústria Aeronáutica Neiva. It is a cantilever, low-wing monoplane of all-metal construction, with retractable undercarriage and side-by-side. Named T-25 in the Brazilian Air Force, it is stationed now only in the Brazilian Air Force Academy, Pirassununga AFB, SP/Brazil. In the past it was largely used as liaison plane as well. You may download the T-25 Brazilian Air Force Academy Livery here How to install: 1st Option: Extract the T-25 Brazilian Air Force Academy folder to your F:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\aircraft\Yak-52\Liveries\Yak-52\ folder. Remember to double check your HD drive letter and DCS destination folder. 2nd Option Extract the T-25 Brazilian Air Force Academy folder to your C:\Users"YourUserNameHere"\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\Yak-52\ folder. If you don't have that folder, you may create it. Remember to double check your HD drive letter and Saved Games destination folder. All the best, Sydy
  2. Hi guys! This is the last silver Jambock and it's complete. After that only the Olive Drabs to go, but I will wait for the Template to come out. This far I made 10 Jambock Liveries and understood most of it, but still a lot to learn. Here she goes: A bit of History: The First Brazilian Fighter Group was created in 1943. The training was performed by the Forward Echelon in Florida, then as a Group in P-40s in Aguadulce, Panama, and Suffolk, New York, flying P-47s. It had a Squadron size. During the World War II , the Group was attached to the 350th Fighter Group in Italy as the 4th squadron (1944-1945). It was based initially in Tarquinia and later in Pisa. Due to low on replacements, the pilots extended the Tour of Duty until the war end. "Jambock" was the callsign used by the Brazilian Fighter Group during the war and still is in used today (flying F-5EM and F-5FM). "Jambock" name has an Indonesian/South African origin (sjanbok or Sambok) and means "animal skin or wood whip". It was a kind of whip. About this Livery: The livery is as historical as possible. 2nd Lt Marcos Eduardo Coelho Magalhaes flew 85 combat missions during WWII. He was shot up 16 time and, eventually, was shot down, but bailed out. He fell over an house and broke both ankles. He was going to be lynched by a mob, but a pair of Wehrmarcht soldiers took him to an hospital where he was interned. On the war end, the German Doctor gave him the Hospital Command as long as he protected the German patients. He did so. He ended his Air Force Career as Lt. Col. He flew on Green flight as "Green Six" on his "D6", P-47D-30-RE SN 44-33097.There was no picture available with this airplane and documents were used as reference. You may download the P-47D - 1st Brazilian Ftr Sq - Jambock D6 - 2nd Lt. Coelho Livery here The Patch on the nose means: - Ostrich - Brazilians can take and handle anything; - Hat - The Brazilian Air Force Pilot; - Shield - The Thunderbolt toughness and the Pilot protection; - Blue and the 5 Stars - Brazilian Sky and the "South Cross constellation"; - Pistol - the Jug fire-power; - Cloud - the airdpace, "the pilot's floor"; - Red Backgroung - the blood of the Brazilians WIA and KIA; - "Senta a Púa!" - Group Motto and means "Go for it!" in a "free translation"; Later, after the war, it was added a Flak Cloud to represent the enemy AAA. How to install: 1st Option: Extract the 1st Brazilian Ftr Sq-Jambock D6-Coelho folder to your C:Eagle DynamicsDCS World OpenBetaCoreModsWWII UnitsP-47D-30LiveriesP-47D-30 folder. Remember to double check your HD drive letter and DCS destination folder. 2nd Option: Extract the 1st Brazilian Ftr Sq-Jambock D6-Coelho folder to your C:Users"YourUserNameHere"Saved GamesDCS.openbetaLiveriesP-47D-30 folder If you don't have that folder, you may create it. Remember to double check your HD drive letter and Saved Games destination folder. Feedback is well accepted. Btw, there is a texture problem on the side insignias that I could not solve. The rearmost part of the lateral insignias are kind metallic. I think it will be solved with the future template. 5. Hi guys! Here goes my another Jambock Livery: A bit of History: The First Brazilian Fighter Group was created in 1943. The training was performed by the Forward Echelon in Florida, then as a Group in P-40s in Aguadulce, Panama, and Suffolk, New York, flying P-47s. It had a Squadron size. "Jambock" name has an Indonesian/South African origin (sjanbok or Sambok) and means "animal skin or wood whip". It was a kind of whip. About this Livery: The livery is as historical as possible. 2nd Lt Luis Lopes Dornelles flew 89 mission in combat during the war. He was shot down and KIA on his 89th mission flying Cap Newton Lagares airplane, the "Black 2" P-47D-30RE SN 42-1093. This Silver B4 was the plane mostly used by Lt Dornelles, also a P-47-30RE SN 44-20800, it has 88 missions markings because the 89th was not completed on it. At the Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Aerospace Museum, we have the second B4, an olive drab, with the painting of SN 42-26766 that is in pristine conditions and with the 89 missions markings to honor Lt. Dornelles memory (in fact, this SN was show down by Flak). Dornelles became the last Jambock to be KIA in the War. He was leading a flight when he was shot down strafing Alexandria Rail Yard. I had the honor to visit his crash site on 2017 and made a home movie about it with my pictures telling the history. I recommend this video down bellow. You may download the P-47D - 1st Brazilian Fighter Squadron - Jambock B4 Silver - 2nd Lt.Dornelles Livery here If you want to download the livery he was shot down and KIA in Alessandria, Italy, You may download the Jambock - 2 - 2nd Lt. 7. Hi guys, I decide to upgrade my vs of the Daredevil campaign using the 1st Brazilian Squadron Jambock Skins available. It came out very nice. This campaign is based on callzar2017's P-51D Daredelvil's Campaign. I recommend you to check his original campaign on https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2940694/ We all thank him for that. I took the liberty to adapt it to the Jug. This is a fictional campaign of the 1st Brazilian Fighter Squadron with P-47Ds flying in Korea. It is highly recommended to download and install the 6 Jambock Liveries listed Bellow. It will add a lot of immersion. The Jambock Liveries used are: Nero Moura: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3310517/ Lagares: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3310538/ Menezes: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3310548/ Canario: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3310552/ Rocha: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3310567/ Jambock Generic Silver: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3310568/ Extract the "P-47D Jambock Daredevil" campaing folder on the F:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\P-47D-30\Missions\Campaigns folder. This way you will find the campaign on the DCS P-47D Campaign tab. As an alternative you may extract the "P-47D Jambock Daredevil" campaign folder on C:\Users"your user name"\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Missions\Campaigns\en. This way you will find the campaign on the DCS My Campaigns tab. Basic mission's objectives: 1- Navigate and land. If you stay alive more than 500 sec, you pass. 2- Reccon the 3 main photo sites (the outpost and 2 tank collums), rtb and land. 3- Destroy the outpost. Practice with bombs, but strafing will do it. 4- Destroy the camp (tent, truck and the yak-52 on the camp). It is a very "basic" campaign and just to breake the ice with the P-47D, but with the Jambock Liveries it will bring a Squadron enviroment and will be very nice to fly, specially for the Brazilians. Enjoy it. You may download the P-47D Jambock Daredevil Campaign here. I hope you like it. All the best, Sydy
  8. Hi guys! I decided to make a generic Jambock silver livery so it compose my upcoming (already uploaded) P-47D Jambock Daredevil campaign. After the war he flew airlines at "PANAIR of Brazil" flying DC-3, DC-6, DC-7 and retiring on DC-8s. TAM Airlines Museum (now closed) has a B5 built from other P-47s parts, but the livery is magnificent. This aircraft was flew by W.O. Poucinhas prior to be assigned to 2nd. Lt. Rocha. Rocha (75 combat missions and big shot airline Captain after the war) and a Jambock Generic Silver without any Flight or SN marks. Probably they will be available tomorrow. All the best, Sydy

  14. Hi Ercoupe, It's a kind of "jigsaw" for me... And I like this Squadron a lot because I met most of the WWII Veterans in it. Btw, Update 1.1 for all skins is just uploaded. This afternoon I am going to make a "P-47D Jambock Daredevil Campaign" with the customized skins for us. All the best, Sydy
  15. HI Ercoupe, Everything is possible, but it is a lot of hardwork... I’m gonna give you a very simple example that is almost unnoticeable. Get the B3 livery (my last one) and look and the B3 on the nose. Did you notice that the letters are on the cowl flaps? And it works on both sides? To make that I had to: - First discover where each cowl flap is in the file; - Cut and align the letter part on that cowl flap; - After that I had to make the same process for the dull texturing bellow and match not only the cowl flap position and the painting with the texturing... Hell of a work and a lot o patience... On the third on (A1) I didn’t do that (because I had no idea at that moment). Now I will redo the A1 with the same technique. I will release a 1.1 vs of the four skins today with minor adjustments and I will remake the “P-47 Daredevil campaign with these four skins” to be “brazilian style” All the best, Sydy
  16. Magic!!! Lol No, got the USAF Standard files and worked on it until got a Brazilian Template, now is a matter of customized the Brazilian Jugs. I used GIMP. It was a hell of a work...
  17. Hi guys! Here goes the 4th Jambock Livery: A bit of History: The First Brazilian Fighter Group was created in 1943. The training was performed by the Forward Echelon in Florida, then as a Group in P-40s in Aguadulce, Panama, and Sulfolk, New York, flying P-47s. Warrant Officer Raymundo da Costa Canario started flying on Yellow Flight as "Red 6" on A6, but after he collided with a chimney (flew with less 1.28m - 4ft - less of his right wing) he moved on to the Yellow flight and Flew 50 missions in combat finishing the war flying this aircraft, Silver "B3" P-47D-30-RA SN 44-33093, callsign "Yellow Three". You may download the 1st Brazilian Ftr Sq-Jambock - Canario Livery here The Patch on the nose means: - Ostrich - Brazilians can take and handle anything; - Hat - The Brazilian Air Force Pilot; - Shield - The Thunderbolt toughness and the Pilot protection; - Blue and the 5 Stars - Brazilian Sky and the "South Cross constellation"; - Pistol - the Jug fire-power; - Cloud - the airspace, "the pilot's floor"; - Red Background - the blood of the brazilians WIA and KIA; - "Senta a Púa!" - Group Motto and means "Go for it!" in a "free translation"; Later, after the war, it was added a Flak Cloud to represent the enemy AAA. How to install: 1st Option: Extract the 1st Brazilian Ftr Sq-Jambock B3-Canario folder to your C:Eagle DynamicsDCS World OpenBetaCoreModsWWII UnitsP-47D-30LiveriesP-47D-30 folder. Remember to double check your HD drive letter and DCS destination folder. 2nd Option: Extract the 1st Brazilian Ftr Sq-Jambock B3-Canario folder to your C:Users"YourUserNameHere"Saved GamesDCS.openbetaLiveriesP-47D-30 folder If you don't have that folder, you may create it. Remember to double check your HD drive letter and Saved Games destination folder. I am just starting to make DCS Liveries, so be gentle and feedback is well accepted. Btw, there is a texture problem on the side insignias that I could not solve. The rearmost part of the lateral insignias are kind metallic. I think it will be solved with the future template. 19. Hi guys! Here we go again! So far I am able to make liveries in silver for the P-47, but I am looking forward for modeling with a Template. Warrant Officer Diomar Menezes came to the squadron as one of the very few replacement and flew 71 missions in combat. His plane was a Silver "A1" P-47D-30-RE SN 42-0854, callsign "Red One". He took over this plane after the Flight Lead became sick. He flew it until the War end. Btw, there is a texture problem on the side insignias that I could not solve. The rearmost part of the lateral insignias are kind metallic. I think it will be solved with the future template. 20. Hi guys! Here goes my second Livery (some more on the way): A bit of History: The First Brazilian Fighter Group was created in 1943. "Jambock" name has an Indonesian/South African origin (sjanbok or Sambok) and means "animal skin or wood whip". It was a kind of whip. About this Livery: The livery is as historical as possible. Cap Newton Lagares was the Operations Officer and flew 79 missions in combat. His plane was a Silver "Black 2" P-47D-30RE SN 42-1093, callsign "Jambock Brown 2". On this airplane, on 26 Apr 1945 at Alexandria, Italy, 2nd Lt. Dorneles became the last Jambock to be KIA in the War. He had 89 missions and was leading a flight on that when he was shot down strafing Alexandria Rail Yard. A photograph was taken with this plane with all 79 missions mark on it. I had the honor to visit his crash site on 2017 and made a home movie about it with my pictures telling the history. I recommend this video down bellow. Col. Av. Nero Moura was the commander (later Brig.Gen.) and flew 62 missions in combat. His plane was a Silver "Black 1" P-47D-25RE SN 42-26450, callsign "Jambock Brown 1". The left under the wing insignia only had the Brazilian star 15deg offset. The one on the right had a roundel, but it was upside down. The bombs represent the number of missions flew by that plane main pilot. 22. Hi, Here we go! Two liveries soon to be released on User Files Download (uploaded already, but non active yet): Brazilian Jugs! These are my very first pair of Liveries ever made... So, be gentle on the feedback! :D All the best, Sydy
  23. Hi, I tried it too to the P-47 and couldn’t. Is it correct to use “/“ not “\” for the .lods path? and for the livery name, there is a “‘“ after “My new livery”. Is that correct also? I used: LoadModel("CoreMods/aircraft/P-47D-30/Shapes/p47-d.lods") LoadLivery("P-47D-30","skintest'") I also tried using “\”, using “F:\entire path”. and so on. I just couldn’t. I’d lo see another example. Thanks in advance, Sydy
  24. Looking forward to it!!!
