Well its great to know where it came from.  I couldn't find it in the forums or downloads.  I snagged it from @lankypilot77 youtube replays of Paradise Lost campaign.  That kneeboard made its way into that campaign.  I wasn't sure where it was located (I since figured it out), so I just spent 10 minutes creating a new one.

    Thanks for the inspiration!

Do you have all your kneeboards someplace?  I should check them out, if you do.

    Hi @Mistermann,

I didn't know they were using it there! How cool is that! 🤩

If you want to browse some other Checklists I made, here goes the link for the user files download page filter:

Hey @Sydy - just wondering what tool you use to create the document?  The layout is incredibly useful.  Thanks!  I made my own Huey kneeboard using a very similar kneeboard that I screen grabbed off YouTube.  Maybe it was yours as this looks very similar.  I love when people do things like this for the community.  Thanks!

Oh, and here's the kneeboard I slapped together for the Huey in case you're wondering how it turned out.

I actually used powerpoint to create.

    Hi @Mistermann,

I originally just did it for me in 2017, but a friend of mine asked for it and said if I could do another one for the L-39 as well. I started doing that with Word (believe me LOL), but then I decided to change a bit. Now I do the basic format on Excel, save it on PDF then snap shot via Corel to PNG and it works fine for me.

I was told that this format helps a lot for the VR guys (I use TrackIr).

Nice checklist of yours. By the items in it,  it was based on mine as well (exactly the same items). All my Quick Checklists are available on the User Files Download Page covering all modules.

Btw, I just updated the Apache checklist to vs 1.1 just to correct the installation folder.

    All the best,

Any chance of non normal checklists, too? In case we don't get the automatic checklist popup on the engine page?

    Hi FalcoGer,

Maybe! I usually don’t make Non-Normals because I like to keep it simple, but I may prepare something, specially for Eng Fire/OEI approach or similar.

Let me mature my Apache Knowledge and then We think about it.

    Thank you for the suggestion.

  4. Hi guys,

It is available the first version of the Apache Quick Checklist.

Of course, the folder name is still to be confirmed and some of the procedures yet to be matured, but I think it is pretty solid for a pre-release version.

Download it at: User Files Download AH-64D Quick Checklist.

    Here goes a sample:

... Remove because it was old...

I hope you like it. Any feedback is welcome.

On release day I will be off on a TDY, BUT i will be back a couple days after, so I will update it as necessary.

    All the best,

    Sydy

How was the performance? Marianas is pretty heavy for me in VR around Guam, but is decent on the other islands. The performance in that regard has been my only point of caution when considering this campaign.

    Hi Nealius,

I had no problem whatsoever. The campaign is well balanced in terms of units. I consider it highly enjoyable.

My setup is not the highest end: 7700k, 2080, 64gig 3400mhz ram, ssd.

    (edit): I don’t use vr…

    all the best.

Hey Sydy, thanks for the feedback and support, happy you had fun. In the escort mission, are you sure you landed at FSB Berlin, not another one? In all the playthrough videos it seems to be working fine. I can't imagine why nothing happens for you. Did you throttle down to rearm?

    Hi Reflected,

I think so... Berlin is one on the top of the mountain with a couple of cows? I didn't throttle down... 😞

But no worries, I will refly the campaign for sure!

    All the best,

    Sydy

  7. Hi Reflected,

Don't get anxious! You're gonna love this "click bait" disappointment... LOL

Dude, I just finished the campaign and I loved every single bit of it. This is one of the most immersive campaign environments I ever saw on DCS. Just amazing.

I will not go through every single mission and I enjoyed them all. Loved the feature of "skip mission" and I used it once on mission 9, if I am not mistaken, the one we escort the convoy then land on Firebase Berlin. I landed there and nothing went on. That was the only single glitch I got from all 12+3 missions.

Btw, the spotify playlist you provided is just awesome and bring a notch up on the environment. I never ever fly listening to music, but this campaign was my first time doing so. The only mission I stopped the playlist was on the last combat mission and you know why. 😉

My company in Brazil has the last operational UH-1H Huey in the country and it was from Vietnan era (sn 70-15720). I even talked to our Huey pilot about some procedures and techniques. Pretty cool chat.

The click bait disappointment was because it was ONLY 12 missions. I wanted more, something like 50 or so! LOL

If you make a second TOD for him, I will buy it for sure. Well... I buy all your products anyway... LOL

You did an outstanding job on this campaign and I strongly recommend to anyone that like the Huey and Vietnan history to acquire and enjoy it.

Congratulations once again and all the best,

    Sydy

I suspect that you are in CCIP mode instead of CCIP Delayed mode.

Do you see the horizontal line (no caffeine in the system yet, forgot its name, but it indicates that the actual impact point is outside of the HUD)?

That line name is “A/G Solution Cue”. Correct, impact point is outside of HUD. Put piper over tgt, press and hold  the weapons release button and the cue will get lower toward the piper. Then, the computer calculates the correct release point.

  9. Hi guys,

Lt Robert Johnson was assigned to 61FS, 56FG, 8 Air Force USAAF, on April, 1943. This is is Bob Johnson's third aircraft."Lucky" was used to score his third, fourth, fifth and sixth victories before being lost in the North Sea on 22nd March 1944 with Dale Stream at the controls. Johnson had previously flow two C-Models Thunderbolts christened Half Pint and All Hell, and had shot down his first two kills in the late aircraft, C-5 41-6235/HV-P. Some weeks prior to "Lucky's" watery demise, Johnson had discarded the aircraft in favor of P-47D-15 42-76234/HV-P, which he logically chistened "Double Lucky". This aircraft duly lived up to its nickname, as the ace is assumed to have scored all his remaining kills (bar his last two) in it, although the serial number(s) of the aircraft used for this string of victories (coded HV-P) has not been 100 per cent confirmed. Finally, now Capt Johnson flew P-47D-21 42-255/LM-Q Penrod & Sam to achieve his final two kills - number 26 ans 27.

    About this Livery.
This livery is as historical as possible. The airplane is the "Lucky" on his final version. It was a P-47D-5 (thus it was a Razorback), HV-P, serial no. 42-8461, 1944, England.
    Features: Originally coded HV-P.

Colors: Under surface, Neutral Gray. Upper surface, Olive Drab waxed and polished. Gray panel panel behind canopy on the razorback.

National Markings:  Standard stars and bars on fuselage. Upper wing; star and bar on outboard port wing; Underwing; large star and bar under both wings.

Stenciling: Factory standard. Note; this aircraft was waxed and polished by crew chief for additional speed advantage. The stenciled code HV is tilted slightly down on the port side. New type stencil with crew names in white lettering and red emergency canopy release plus second canopy release in White on canopy rail. Up to 25 Balkenkreuz and acft type victory tallies now on side fuselage under cockpit.
