I have the Saitek X52. I have programed my DCS A-10C commands from within DCS and I use Iron's X52 profile. My question concern the Pinky Switch (shift state). Right now I must press and release the Pinky Switch for any of the shift state commands to initiate; and then press the Pinky Switch again to re-initialize the initial commands. I would like to press and hold the Pinky Switch until I initiate a shift state command and when I release the Pinky Switch the initial commands are re-initiated. Can anyone help me with the setting, in the DCS controls configuration or Iron's profile, that will allow me to press and hold the Pinky Switch for the shift state commands and when I release the Pinky Switch, I return to the initial commands?

Probad, I think you are a little hard on Spades Neil. It is answers like that that deterred me from forum participation, years back. Not every one has 22 hours a day to read the DCS forum. If you can not answer the question with some degree of civility, then let someone else answer it. Or, this may sound novel, just be polite.

Hello brothers and sisters; I was wondering if there is a SU 33 tutorial mission out there which would allow me to take off from the carrier and practice refueling and then return to the carrier.

Hello Brothers and Sisters. I was wondering if there is a formation mission. I have tried to create one but each flyer tends to go to each waypoint individually rather than as a flight. Also, is there a way to set the formation type for each waypoint. I created a flight of 3 SU27s and then created a single aircraft flight as player. I can not get the flight of 3 to join up so that I can tag alone as #4.

Lately I have been on Youtube watching many DCS videos. I have notice, via Youtube, the varying colors in the cockpits, the sky, and the waters. Tonight I saw some real vibrant colors--deep blue in the ocean and sky. I also remember seeing some less vibrant colors and many shades in between. I like the changes; almost like flying in a different sim with each color change in the different Youtube videos. My question is, is there any way to change the colors, contrast, or shades in DCS 1.5 or 2.0 like in the old days when we had an option to change shades and contrast?

Hi Rabb. I will try to be more clear. For those of you who flew the Falcon 4 platform, there was always an indication of what speed you must fly to get to the way point on time. Moreover, the flight plan gave you the altitude for each way point. Is there anything like that in DCS F15; otherwise how would one know it one is on time for initiation of an attack?

Where do I find the right speed and altitude for arriving at a way point or target area on time, i.e., mission speed and altitude? Is there an indication, in the cockpit, that tells me if I will arrive at a particular way point on time and at the right altitude? Sorry for redundancy, I just want to be clear as to what I am asking for. Thanks in advance.

Thanks; Just one more thing. When do I use LAlt/9. Sometimes repeatedly pressing the A key gives some very unexpected out of control behavior by the aircraft.

Yes, I understand as much Razo+r. But, do I hit the "A" first then the key combination (Alt Hold, Route Follow etc.) or the other way around?

Can anyone help with the sequential procedures to initiate the autopilot for the SU 27?

Everytime I try to login, I get a invalid serial number written in red. That is, on my DCS start up screen, I try to login and I have never been able to do it without getting this error message. I have been playing, but have never logged in. By the way, why should I log in? And, how do I find and replace the serial number. Note:I have no problems playing, downloading updates, or anything else with the DCS simulation.

Considering the Vive For me, this is a huge investment. Not only do I have to buy the Vive, but I must also up grade my computer or get a new one with higher specks. Before I invest, I would like to try DCS on the Vive. Is there ANYONE in the Denver Metro Area that has a Vive setup and is willing to let me try it, I would greatly appreciate it?

You Damaged the Aircraft Cadet In mission three, I always get the phrase: "you damaged the aircraft cadet." What am I doing wrong?

Hey guys; I actually stop flying the F15 because it continued to veer left increasingly with speed. It got to be uncontrollable for me, even with the use of my rudder and I have been with this product since its been out, so its not inexperience. I thought it would be fixed in an update, but no such luck. I'll try adjusting my Axis controls again; maybe it is my mistake. Note: I am happy with the SU27 and SU33 for now.

Is the Scan Zone up or down a bug in 1.5? I move it down and it jumps right back up to where it was before. I can never detect targets below my aircraft because of this.

For some reason the Scan zone up and down (RShft/. and RShft/:) acts crazy. It never goes down all the way. It moves a little but never far enough downwards to pick up a target at a lower altitude. It, however, works perfectly in 2.0. Any suggestions?

Correct me if I am wrong. But, I though I read somewhere that DCS 2.0 will allow us to fly as a wingman in addition to lead. Can anyone confirm this and if so, does anyone know if source documentation exist? Also, can an entire campaign be flown as a wingman?
