  1. I also would love this feature asap, only care about cdu - would like to leave others default.
  2. ...what? It's a reflection
  3. rofl...yea! So, quoted for truth - PFM...how's that ASM for f-14 coming? ;)
  4. Indeed. And I'll agree with a post Cobra made back in July - the F14 is a behemoth of a complex aircraft. However, this may fall in lines with ED rolling out dual cockpit support ;) He also mentioned FC quality back then, when it happens I pray for MiG quality!
  5. I think it's it and nobody will persuade me otherwise - not even Cobra. You just made my day =)
  6. omg nice catch....man, f-14...gotta be it! Leatherneck sticking with jets Won't confirm 1 or 2 engines...so 2 engines! Cobras avatar Not Marines - they were interested to replace F-4 but did not
  7. Capt....I'm very interested in your profile, however when I reset Monitors with Helios Control to my 1920x1080 Monitor the textures do not extend to the full screen. I'll add a screenshot if you can see it but the right side is indented like 3 inches. http://i.imgur.com/E0Na0RL.jpg Looking at your config, I'm pretty sure you made this for 4:3 monitors only, can you make a version for widescreen people 16:9?
  8. He means nvidia surround =p
  9. I've been battling a similar scenario with helios and 4 screens. Just when I think I have everything tweaked just right I'll be plagued with stutters. Unfortunately, I think there may be a bug in FPS representation in-game with CTRL-Pause also. I am currently able to run the game + helios as smooth as butter if I turn Windows Aero off. The FPS deal shows 11-15fps which used to make me mad and I'd just resume testing other settings, because everyone says to run Helios with Aero on. Well, not only does the game run like butter with what appears to be incorrect fps #'s but helios is also back to being instantly responsive with aero off, like it was on a single monitor without surround. I'll try an external fps tester and I'd hate to think that aero off is my fix because it's so minor, but so far I am stutter free and running very smooth gameplay at what the game reports to be 11 fps! Also, note if I turn aero back on and if I ever get the game down to 11fps it's a sluggish nightmare and while aero on gives me much higher fps the range is a huge fluctuating mess from 7 to 56 and stutters constantly - so something is fishy. I would try with Aero off and IGNORE the in-game FPS monitor and see how you feel. Morgue
  10. Thanks Mav, they actually just closed their US recruitment and I was worried my current level of experience was a bit low. Otherwise, that does look like a great bunch =) Also, thanks again Blooze I might have to hop on your TS and say hello. Hopefully you guys fly often. Morgue
  11. Thanks Blooze, but as mentioned I'm not looking for a casual group.
  12. Hey all, I've browsed the squadron directory and specific company sites but figured I would give posting here a chance too. I'm fairly green to DCS World but am a fast learner and I'm resolved to master this sim and all it has to offer. Now that I have some proper flight gear and rookie hours under my belt, I'm really hoping to find a crew to make new sim friends who would be willing to take me under their wing to help with the multiplayer learning curve. I love both the KA-50 and A-10C and really don't mind if my crew has an aircraft requirement, I am better with the 50 but recognize the hogs advantages and just need more practice with fixed wing. I'm also not really looking for a very casual crew, I play a lot and I'd like to find some folks that intend to do missions properly and often - not to say I want all business & no fun, but I think doing this properly is more rewarding and fun. :) I should clarify that I'm not against a casual group that takes their missions seriously, not necessarily saying I'm looking for a hardcore military group! Folks with high play/flight time is important, weekend flights aren't enough for me. Some general info: Callsign: Morgue Age: 32 Timezone: USA - Mountain (MST) Playtime: 4-10pm daily, all day weekends (minus required Girlfriend time) Pref Aircraft: BS2/A-10C Gear: TM Warthog, Saitek Pro Pedals, TrackIR, 3x27" Monitors, 1x24" Running Helios, Obutto R3v cockpit email: opalepalmer@gmail.com Thanks for your time, Morgue :pilotfly:
