  1. Yes, we had some teething problems which we sorted out the night before the mission. However, mission 2 & 3 have presented no problems. We all had "flight delayed" messages, as we paused the mission in order for us all to get into the right aircraft (Hawk 1-1 first) and then he un-paused and we all got into our respective Hornets with no problems.
  2. Commenced mission 1 last week with 7 Hornet aviators in Australia (see post in this thread). Very enjoyable.

  3. I've put together a short video outlining the uses of the three background apps I run in DCS, in tandem with my Oculus Quest 2. 1. Oculus Tray Tool. 2. Oculus Mirror. 3. SideQuest. This obviously is not an exact science, but may be helpfull for other users. Comments welcome.

  4. Flying a standard single player mission provided free with the Hornet and Gulf map.
  5. This training video shows the real life Hornet start up procedures as detailed in the official NATOPS manual. Would it be possible to sit in a real Hornet and be able to start it up and then fly it? Find out here! DCS Natops training mission here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.co...

  6. Unfortunately ASOR 234 sqdn is currently on hold and not active due to dwindling numbers of pilots. Stay tuned - hopefully we may be back in the future - who knows?
  7. Hypothetical Cold War 1958 - Russia + East Germany vs Western Allies, PvE short campaign. Mission 1 - ASOR 234 sqdn deploys to Batumi. Sunday 23rd May - mission starts 8pm Sydney time ASOR server. Briefing 8pm in ASOR Discord. Required: DCS Sabre / WW2 assets pack / SRS
  8. Hi Folks. it's been a while. We have had a bit of a forced hiatus, due to lack of interest. Also I went VR (Quest 2), so it's taken a while to produce vids (still not totally happy with the 'square box' format it produces). I have resurected the F-86 Sabre and the combination of this, the 2.7 update and the DCS sale has renewed interest again. I hopefully, will be starting a cold war style campaign soon, so keep a look out for this. [ytube]

  12. Thank you sir!
  13. Hi folks. I have put together a WW2 mission based on escorting friendly bomber stragglers home. I'd ideally like to have a few of the A20's 'shot up' at the mission start. I don't do scripting. Is there any way I could at least have a couple start the mission trailing smoke? [edit] I've tried adding Waypoint > perform command > smoke on This doesn't work (I guess it's for the modules that allow wingtip smoke cannisters?) I've also tried the Trigger > group alive > smoke marker on unit - that doesn't seem to work either.
