Looking for someone who wants to pair up with me to make some campaign specific skins for missions I am currently putting together. Skins currently needed are as follows: - CF-5E (Canada) - C-17 (Canada) - IL-78 Georgia (Field Dress) - Mig-21BIS (Georgia) Any help would be appreciated, and any suggestions to templates would be great as well. Thanks everyone and a Merry Christmas to all.

Dumb question, I know but have gone through all the folders in DCS World, and have yet to find the one where in game print screen end up. Currently have the Print screen button used as default in the keyboard listing, so if anyone happens to know where they are putting them, pleassse let me know.

update released? have read the info on the update the bug fixes, but wasnt able to find any info as to when it will be release to DSC world. Is it strictly for those who bought the SU-27 module for the moment?

Nor exactly what I was referring to. What if we can have a completely moddeled MASH Farp, one that already has the tents and buildings, roadway and a pair of Heli-pads, already in place.

Think any of our resident modellers could create a new farp based around a mash layout.

Hey there skinners. Have a request of you. Think someone could alter the current Russian tanker to carry Georgian insignias. But do it up as a field dress and not a complete repaint?. Need something for a campaign I am putting together.

Embarking not working in Multiplayer.

Hey there HawgDawg As far as I know the embark-disembark only works in single player exclusively. To get the same results in MP you may need to utilize the CTTS script. With cloned units at the pick up and drop LZ's. Its an option you might be able to utilize to get the desired results. -
That's unfortunate as it only leaves the viking for aerial refuelling of probe type planes. Now do remember from my falcon days that the KC-135 was able to basket refuel using a pair of wing pylon baskets. Is this something that might be added to the model as a possible option?

Have seen some videos of the plane basket refuelling Navy planes off the boom. Is this something that the current KC-135 is modelled in game to do.

LOM mods Would there mustang, but I am not a modeller. Found a carrier mod of the USS Roosevelt that I would like to use as a replacement to the Vinson model.

True enough but at least with a pair of engines, your ability to limp the bird back to a friendly airfield is considerably better. I believe that was the reasoning behind Canada's choosing the F-18A over the falcon when the original replacements were needed for the starfighters and voodoos . Now as for joeys comments about the liveries, they already exist in game. They just need to be renamed for the "C" variant. But would still prefer to have our proper aircraft designation available, but that's just my preference.

So how hard would it be for one of out resident modders to add a new aircraft entry into the database with the flight model chacteristic of the F/A-18C but named CF-18A and utilizing the F/A-18A model and Canadian skins.

my opinion.. Whole reason I got into DCS World is due to the whole sand box mentality. The possibility of having live targets( or at least in the concept you can get from a computer simulator) is one of the things that set DCS apart from other conventional sims. The fact that most aspects within a modern battlefield can be either manipulated or out right controlled add a level of realism to the game. As already stated, the ability to dive in in a column with the knowledge that the target us currently tracking your movements and making their own defensive movements is a great selling point.

Any chance the model used by Canada for their F-18 can be switch back to the F/A-18A. They "C"variant doesn't carry the canuck skins and being a proud Canadian would much rather our planes be painted correctly. I realize its a easy fix with the countries database, but am not entirely sure how that alteration will effect the multiplayer.

Decided to install the stand alone in addition to me steam install, and for some reason the stand alone won't save mission files in the editor. I can open and edit, but not save them.

What is the best way to remove a unit once it has landed, something you can add as a waypoint trigger with a timer?

Hey there ajax, Its not my script I am trying to run but Grimes iad script. Now if I go do script file, it runs fine. But if I copy and paste to a do script, I get that error

Well tried both notepad and notepad++, and get the same result. Cut and paste a script into ME and still get all the little boxes in front where the spaces should be. Can't be ignored as they do pork the script. Get an error any time u try to load in game. Script Error message goes like this: [string "do..."]:1; unexpected symbol near 'char(30)'

Using the notepad that comes with both windows 7 as well as windows 8.1

Been having a severe issue with copying scripts into a do script in the ME. Everytime I copy and paste a script, it look right in notepad, but once it his the ME window there is a bunch of boxes added in the paste that pretty much fubars the script. I can't get it to copy over exactly how it is written in notepad. Anyone run into this problem as well and know a way to correct it. Would much prefer to embbed my scripts as opposed to running script files.
