Whose "top ten" is that? Cos my personal Top 10 looks very much different... There are quiet few "top 10" and all of them far away from my top 10. Thou there is no one authentic top 10 made by helicopter pilots who have flown all 10 of them and can put them in correct spot on the list. Dunno what are you talking about, gun pods rocks, they are accurate and deadly! You look for the explanation too far, problem is not with gun pods, problem is with you guys over squeezing the trigger, all you have to do is come in in descent speed, combat flaps ON, strictly NO air brakes!, squeeze the trigger for 0.5 second and any light armored vehicle or truck is history... Talking about 4 external and internal combined...
