This time for the F-14 Tomcat. I made the profile using the new Generic interface in Helios, and i developed boths cockpits, the pilot and the RIO, so you can switch beetween them at real time! So here you got a fully Pilot/RIO input/output F-14 Tomcat profile. Hope you like it ! For this profile i exported all the instruments, lamps, selectors, switches and levers in the F-14 Tomcat pilot and RIO cockpits. And finally, i use my new Kneeboard control in Helios editor to create a new NAV panel, a Kneeboard with all the airport charts from all the actual DCS maps! including my Normandy Aerodrome charts v1.0 package. Main panel Pilot Pilot Left and Right panels RIO Main panel RIO left panel with Lantirn active RIO Right and buttom panels New Kneeboard Nav panel - HELIOS VERSION NEEDED: This new profile uses the new tools in Helios, so you need to have the Helios version 1.4.2019.0616 or above You can donwload from here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3302014/ - EXPORT FILES: Included in the Scripts folder, you can find the export.lua, and a Helios folder with the export files needed to run with this profile In this version i included a new file organization for the export. Thanks a lot to Crivi, who reorganized all the files and fucntions by planes. Now, new airplanes can have their own files and do not ineterfere with the helios main export functions. You need to install those files in your scripts folder. - Monitor aspect resolutions: I made two different profiles, v1.0 for 16:10 monitors and v1.0b for 16:9 monitors. Use the one better fit width you monitor resolution. F-14_V1.0.hpf .....................16:10 monitor resolutions F-14_V1.0_b.hpf .....................16:9 monitor resolutions - Thanks: I made the entire graphic art, based on screenshots of the simulator, and the textures folder of the game. I used the airport charts from http://www.virtual-jabog32.de and the tactical chart TC-1 created by =MAF=Mongoose and the NDBs list created by Lino_Germany. For the export.lua i used the Loophole version, compatible width KA50, A10c and FC3 as a base for all my implementations. In the export.lua i include a couple of functions by [FSF]Ian to export the digits of the UV26 for the MI-8 Thanks to Crivi, who reorganized all the export files by airplanes and functions. I want to give thanks to Bluefinbima, for let me include the new helios controls and features. Thanks to Rashmaninov, for implementing the new helios Trans-rotate control.¡Gracias amigo! Thanks to Cylution, yzfanimal, Damien022, Derammo, and Piet Van Nes for the good work done implementing new Helios features. And of course to Gadroc for creating Helios, this great software. INSTALATION -Install Helios if you don't have it yet. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3302014/ -Copy the profile on the profiles folder, usualy in user/my documents/helios/profiles -Copy the folder Capt_Zeen on the images folder, usualy in user/my documents/helios/images -Run the HeliosProfileEditor, load the profile Capt_Zeen_F-14V2.0 or Capt_Zeen_F-14V2.0b, and perform a Reset Monitors from the menu Profile. -Save the profile using your custom name RUNNING THE PROFILE -Open the Helios Control Center, select the profile and start it. CONFIGURING THE SECOND MONITOR Included in the package, there is a folder called "DCS Monitor Configuration" width a complete folders structure you can drop on DCS World instalation folder. This structure prepare the diferents lua scripts to export the views to the second monitor to represent the Pilot and RIO cockpits. I created 3 diferent monitor configuration files: - one for the Pilot: F14_PILOT.lua - one for the RIO: F14_RIO.lua - and one that include the two at the same time, F14_MULTI.lua , just in case HeatBlur make the changes needed to have the two cocpkpits at the same time without overlapings. Unless you got my same configuration (two 1920x1080 monitors), you will need to change the coordinates x and y of every viewport and the width and height sizes of them in the DCS Monitor Configuration\Config\MonitorSetup files. Change it before copy to the game folder, and save a copy of this structure, cause DCS world rewrite this files every update! To calculate the correct position of each viewport, run Helios and start the profile. Take a screenshot and paste the image in any art program. Paint from Windows works well. Put the cursor over the left-up corners of every empty spaces and write down the coordinates. Drag a box from that point to the right_down corner, and take the width and height of the rectangle. Modify the monitor configuration file you want to use width your correct numbers. and you can now copy the complete "DCS Monitor Configuration" folder to the DCS game folder, or use a Mods control program like JSGME to do it. As example, here you got a video tutorial where you can see how i do this process on the F18 profile: CONTACT discord channel for support: https://discord.gg/sS66aJf As allways you can download from my site: http://www.captzeen.com ..

  5. A little update: After finished the new KA50 and UH1H, i continue working on the F14. The F14 profile is very advanced. Right now i got the 89% of outputs ready. Still working on art and the inputs. I foresee one more week of work to finish it. Ahh, of course, i am makieng a complete profile, for pilot and RIO on the same profile A couple of screenshots of the main panels: ..
  6. Hello all! Here i come with a new UH-1H v2.0 Helios profile! We already have a UH-1H Helios profile, we really need a new one? Well, several reasons made me create this new one: 1- At the moment Helios don't have a UH1H interface, so when i made the first profile in 2016, i was forced to use the old FC interface. 2- For the outputs i used a largue keyboard default file, and then use the key commands to send the switch clicks to DCS. And every time ED made changes on those files, we can have problems. 3- Using the keyboard to send the commands, force to create diferent version of the profile for diferent international keyboards, making the creation of a profile a real pain. 4- After 3 years of changes on DCS, several controls of the profile stop working anymore, so we really need a revision of the entire profile. Some months ago, i created a new general purpose interface for Helios. Now i can create profiles using this interface, giving all the functionallity, inputs and outputs, to all the airplanes we need even if they don't got a interface. Whith it i remade the new MI-8 profile, and now is time for the UH-1H. So i start redesigning all the art for the diferent panels, removing all the keyboards commands, so no more default.lua needed and adding new instruments for the copilot and ram temperature. I replaced aswell some of the old instruments for others more eficients, using the new controls implemented on the latest versions of Helios. And finally, i use my new Kneeboard control in Helios editor to create a new NAV panel, a Kneeboard with all the airport charts from all the actual DCS maps! including my Normandy Aerodrome charts v1.0 package. 7. You can find a link to the CapLoz A10C profile on my site in downloads section. Then use my latest export files to run it. My export is cpompatible with A10C cpLoz profile and all my profiles. So dont create a setup with hellios if you want to use one of those, or Helios rewrite over the export.lua, ruining all.
  8. Fixed the problem with the missing images. Package already uploaded, you can donwload again. Thanks for the feedback
  9. i am going to test tonight the F15 profile, i let you know how it goes
  10. -Good trick! -And yes! you can copy the new NAV panel to other profiles. just copy the panel from one editor profile to the other profile in another editor profile window. -i am going to revise the left instruments, but can you send me a screenshot via discord?
  11. Hello all! Here i come with a new KA50 v2.0 Helios profile! We already have a KA50 Helios profile, we really need a new one? Well, several reasons made me create this new one: 1- In the time paseed from the first KA50 interface created by Gadroc and today, ED made changes on the devices of the Blackshark, and that made the old interface to fail in several systems. And thats force to use key commands to send the switch clicks to DCS. And thats cause to create diferent profiles for diferent countrys due to the diferent international keyboards. 2- In the old interface several devices are missing aswell, not everything on the cockpit can be reproduced 3- The old KA50 profile was designed to be very practic, but thats made a profile very different from the real cockpit, with several systems relocated in diferent places from the real positions. 4- Several viewports need to be created with the old profile, to recreate the PVI, UV26 and Ekran, and this viewports need to be positioned acorss the monitor configuration, making the installation of the profile dificult for some people. After thinking about for a long time, i decided to study how interfaces goes in Helios, and i start to remake the KA50 interface, fixing the device changes, adding new features and instruments, and implementing the UV26, PVI and EKRAN data directly to the interface. Then i start redesigning all the art for the diferent panels to be more "cockpit fidellity". Implementing the new instruments and adding the brand new PVI, UV26 and EKRAN systems, without viewports exports! I created, with the collaboration of Rashmaninov, aswell, several new instruments and controls for the new Helios version, thats permit me to recreate some KA50 instruments in a more easilly and eficient way. And finally, i use my new Kneeboard control in Helios editor to create a new NAV panel, a Kneeboard with all the airport charts from all the actual DCS maps! including my Normandy Aerodrome charts v1.0 package. 12. i test it both, su27 and su33, and both works! just using the export.lua for the su27/33 from my site.
  13. Looks like ED changes some device numbers from the day i made the profile. I am revising all the numbers to fix the issues. I let you all know when is ready a new fixed version.
  14. Hello all. Working on a new all-maps-Kneeboard based on Helios, i create this new set of Normandy Aerodromes charts, with frequencies, coordinates, and other usefull info. As always is a pleasure for me to share with you my work. Hope you like it ! DCS Normady Aerodromes Charts by Capt Zeen Some examples:
  15. Use the latest export files on my site. No problem at all with old profiles. And with that exports, you can change airplanes profiles without problems because all airplanes are in the same export.
  16. Check if the dcs.log gives you a export.lua error or somoething inusual.
  17. Hello all. Lately i was working on several Helios projects: F14, Mig19, Uh1H... still working on those... But i am very proud of that one: a new KA50 Helios profile! For that one, i rewrite the Helios interface for the KA50, fixing long time ago bugs and adding missing devices and controls. Now everything is working, without the use of keyboard commands. I added aswell to the interface the Ekran, PVI and UV29 displays, so no more viewports are needed for those components! The profile is in testing fase, so, soon will be avaiable, but of course, we need to publish, first, a new Helios version, with all the new changes on the interface. In the near future, i plan to do something similar to the A10C interface, so a new A10C profile will be ready in some months. Here you got a screenshot of the actual KA50 profile V2: Hope you like it ! ..
  18. Hello Joe. First of all, we need to know what profile do you want to install, or if you are creating a new one. If you want to use one of my already made profiles, you dont need to do nothing on the the interface tab, just install the profile in your helios folder and use my latest export files from my site. Actually, if you do the interface tab "Setup DCS F/A-18C" or any other, you'll broke my exports, so is not a good idea! If you are creating a completly new F18C profile, then probably you need to do the "Setup DCS F/A-18C", because you'll need the new export.lua for that. ..
  19. You can create a config file with the two airplanes toghether
