Ok, maybe lower the shadows. If i understand correctly and from what i read in another post, the setting "shadows: flat only" work only if "flat terrain shadows" is on, or maybe it's the opposite.... can't remember, give it a try. It's normal that you have constant FPS when you look the sky because there is nothing to render, it's another story when you look the ground through your Shkval. In my KA50 i can have sometime a hit, and i have a GTX 970. So try "res.of cockpit displays": 256 and "flat terrain shadows": ON

Yep same here, multiplayer is almost impossible, RAM usage is slowly rising up to 9500Mb, it's take only about 10mn to crash my game with a few players and nothing else. Also notice something else, if i start a mission (Tf51 cold start for example), RAM usage is about 3400Mb. Leave mission, restart the same, RAM is about 4200Mb, and it never stop.... Spec: I5 4670k, GTX 970Gb, 8Gb RAM, Windows 10 64 bits.

Hi, i have a performance hit too with the default menu theme, FPS are locked at 30, making the mouse very jerky (my spec: I5 4690K, GTX 970, 8Gb RAM, Windows 10), so i just switch to another one. BTW, i think 2Gb of VRAM is not enough for 4K resolution.

So i'm weird too ;) One on my favorite pastime. Great to learn nav, you have to be very concentrate during the whole flight.

I only test with mouse and TIR, and it was laggy but with a high amount of FPS. I revert back to the previous version so I can't test.

VRAM usage was the same between hotfix 2 and 3 for me. Sitting on my 'pit alone in SP it's about 2,9/3GB, a bit high no?

Ok i successfully revert back to the previous version and now it's smooth as butter. Don't know what happen with the hotfix 3 but i stay with hotfix 2 until they fix it.

Despite my effort, nothing seem to work.....i try differents settings, Vsync on/off, double check all is left to "application controlled"or "use the 3d application setting" in the nvidia control panel, full screen by pressing alt+enter when entering in game, options set to "low", nothing work. It's a real stutter fest in cockpit and in external view, hard to describe because english is not my native language but 60 FPS feel like 20 or less.... i think i will revert back to the hotfix 2 who was perctly smooth. Don't know if it's related, but if i choose the default theme (clouds) in the main menu, FPS are capped to 30, who make the mouse very juderry and notice also a very low GPU usage (<30% or less) while in game.

Pareil, je vole en soirée généralement de 20H30 a 23H00 environ mais pas tout les soirs non plus, boulot et vie de famille avant tout. Et j'attends les prochaines soldes aussi, j'ai bêtement raté les dernières...
