Maybe you have the HDR option enable, this is why i don't like this effect. Color are better without.

Well now I'm sure it's an "official livrery", I'd just checked in game. Note that this skin is for the Su25A, not the default Su25T already present in the game. You have to buy Flamming Cliff 3 or buy the Su25A as a separate module. If it's the case, then try a repair.
-
This skin is one of those available with the Su25, A model, by default. You can select it in the Mission Editor, "payload " tab, then choose "livrery". Can't remember is name, but i'm sure it's one of the default skin.... And agree with you, it's a nice looking one!

I'm using Nvidia Ispector, but you can do it with Nvidia Control Panel: Antialiasing Mode: Override any application setting Antialiasing Transparency Multisampling: Disabled Antialiasing Transparency Supersampling: 2xSupersampling or 4xSupersampling The important thing is to set your Msaa in game at the same value of your Supersampling, if you choose 2xSupersampling then choose 2xMsaa while in game, otherwise it won't work. Downsampling, Multisampling....same thing for me, of course that will not provide the image clarity of a true 4K screen, i see those antialiasing technique more as a "full scene antialiasing" than other thing, but i disagree on 1 thing, it look much better at DSR 4x or SSAAx4 () than with the regular 4xMsaa, at least on my screen wich is 32'', 1920x1080.

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=157374 A good guide, you should have a look. Also post your in game options, it can help. In my experience, the shadows are FPS killer, set both of them to FLAT and FLAT ONLY. Be sure in your Nvidia Control Panel all is set to "application controlled", and important, the power management mode: set to "prefer maximum performance".
-
100% is the default value for me, original resolution: 1920x1080, i set DSR to 4x (so 3840x2160) in game, press alt+enter for full screen, but you can't click anything, i have to change my native resolution to 3840x2160 before with Nvidia Control Panel....Strange, IIRC, it worked great in DCS 1.2.
-
Yes.... but Supersampling work...and look very good. In fact DSR work, but you can't click anything, you have to change you resolution before entering the game... annoying and i'm always the guy who forget this

Reshade 2.0 SweetFX / FlyMaker Preset - DCS 1.5 Beta
droopy114 replied to FlyMaker's topic in DCS Modding
I REALLY love, the last pic show the difference before (left)/after (right) . Just remove this "blurry" filter, adjust black level, add some sharpening, and FXAA through Nvidia Inspector (FXAA with Reshade don't work as well as the one by Nvidia) look much better. [/img] [/img] -

Thank's, first step in my process, will try more tuning. For Invisibull, i can share setting but i think it's a very personnal preference, the way it look on my screen may look different in yours, also, Reshade in not the only thing i use, i have Nvidia Inspector and enable Sparse Grid Supersampling to....it help a lot ....Basically i followed the steps linked by Kobac in this video: [ame] [/ame] Only things i tick in Mediator (for now): -Vibrance -Curves -Lumasharpen -FXAA And play a bit with sliders, that's all. I was like you a total noob with Reshade and quickly understand How it work. -

Well a very good tool, i adjust contrast, play with curves, and add some sharpening and FXAA... here are screenshots, not easy to see on a static image but you really see it and feel it while in game... love it! [/img] [/img] -

Thank you for your answer, i will give it a try. I use this online tool http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/ to calibrate my monitor, it display colors very well but i don't know DCS is the only game i have where i say myself "Mmm... is it blurry or what?" BTW it look great, i just want to play with colors and maybe some AA. -

Interesting maybe the tool i'm looking for, DCS 1.5 is great looking but like you i find color a bit washy.... I don't know anything about Reshade and Mediator, could you provide the complete installation procedure please? I don't want to destroy my game.... and CLOD: Cliff Of Dover and ROF: Rise Of Flight. -
Hi all, today i was looking the "options.LUA" in Users>name>Saved Games>DCS>Config, i've noticed a line in ["graphics"] : ["TranspSSAA"] = false. This is certainly for "Transparency SuperSampling Anti-Aliasing, but does anyone know why it is hidden in the main menu while in game?

2016 Hardware Benchmark - DCS World 1.5.x

Thank you very much for this test! I see you test RAM with a total amount of 16Gb, could you run a test with 8Gb? I see some users says that they have better FPS with 16 instead of 8, true? -
GTX 970 user here, i'm using Nvidia Inspector for overclocking. Currently i'm at +100Mhz for both GPU clock and memory, but the thing that make my overclock stable is the "Power and Temperature Target" cursor. Default is set at 100%, i've read somewhere it must be set to 106% for GTX 970. 100%: crash 106%: no problem Not the same graphic card, but maybe something to try.

Very useful, thank you for your work!
