Following on from an earlier thread, it was decided that we would start a thread where people could post examples of solid BVR tactics using the Mirage. Here is an example I put together last night against an F-16 armed with slammers. NB: you may need to test and adjust for employment against humans.

This has to be some of the most ridiculous BVR I have ever seen. DCS is a game, not a sim. Flying head on towards an Amraam while diving at Mach 2 doing an aileron roll?? You would die 100% of the time in reality. Something else that needs to be pointed out is that just because this technique of yours works 30 percent of the time in this game doesn't mean it is how you should fly BVR in the mirage. Utterly ridiculous.

Going to hold out for Rift CV2 and 1080 ti. Good times ahead.

18 points of curvature on stick for X and Y using TM Warthog. No deadzone. Saturation default.

Don't get me wrong, the mirage is freaking awesome and I commend you guys for the long list of fixes released today, but how is it that you can release an update for a module and have very obvious and experience-degrading bugs still present? E.g, afterburner texture fault that now appears at idle and this GBU 12 CTD bug.....before you push it out the door don't you run it at least one more time to make sure it works???

I am getting CTD no matter where I load the GBU 12s or in which combination. Please fix.

By all means start out with a cheap stick etc to see if DCS is for you... Hi Vyrtuoz.... Not sure if this is related to me changing over to windows 10, but the picture in tacview now has much more aliasing (bad). Is there a way to clean up the picture to make the lines smooth? I am running tacview 1.4.0 beta 3.

NVGs for F-15C please. This will help with air to air refuelling at night and make for some interesting WVR night engagements.

Has the aggressor faction been incorporated into the mission editor yet? I couldn't find it in the country list two nights ago.

You might need to reinstall your TM warthog drivers.
