Ok, I'll have to talk to my isp to see if they'll sort me out. After, a quick search, may have to look into a VPN that allows port forwarding. Thanks all for your help.

I've just looked at my ISP quickline and apparently they do use a CG-Nat. Does this mean this will be my issue?

Hi, finally managed to get my friend to test my server and the same as before. It doesn't show on his server list and just shows "server offline " if he connects by IP. However, as mentioned above, my server does show on the "my server list" on the ED website. Below is a screen on my port forwarding rule. Anyone got any ideas?

Just a quick update, I haven't managed to test with a friend yet but looked on the dcs website when my server was running and it showed on the 'my server' list.
-
I haven't had a chance to test it yet but hopefully will later this evening. I'll let you know when I have. Appreciate the input peeps.

Great, I'll set that up now.

I've checked and Win firewall is set to allow DCS through. I've noticed though, my IPv4 IP address is something like 192.168.1........ but in DCS my IP address in multiplayer is 164.138.80....... Shouldnt they be the same and if not, which IP address do I set as the port forwarding rule?
-
Ok, I'll give those things a try. Thanks for the comments.

They are trying to join my server so should the originating IP be my IP address? Also, I have DCS.exe and folder set in the exclusions list. Is that what you mean by checking win firewall is allowing public IP traffic to port 10308?

Hi, can anyone tell if this is correct as I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to this sort of thing. As it stands, my friends get can't see my server on the list and if they try to connect via ip, they get a server offline message so I believe my port 10308 is closed. Any advice would be appreciated.

Has there been any mention recently on getting raindrops on the fabulous phantom?

100% this! Completely agree!

Not really sure how I feel about this one. For years, customers have been told "no we can't make that because of the lack of data and documents available". Now, you can get all that information from watching some videos. DCS's main selling point is the accuracy of the flight models and the attention to the minor details that other platforms don't provide. I'm happy to see more aircraft but this one is a bit far fetched given where dcs has come from in my opinion.

Same here, no mouse cursor and I've done the same as above. -
100% Agree with everything Spud said in his video. ED and Razbam need to come together and tell their users what is going on. This really could kill the game for everyone! The users, Ed and all 3rd parties. People are not going to trust them with their money if a few months after they pay out for a module, it just goes for whatever reason.
-
Hi, this is my personal opinion but I really feel there needs to be an update from ED regards the on going issues with razbam. The negativity on this subject is really starting to gather speed. I was one of those that got bitten when VEAO died with the Hawk and P40F. I've already paid out for 2 modules that will never see the light of day again and I currently own all Razbam modules. So if they die off too, I would have spent out a large sum of my money on these products to support DCS and 3rd parties for no reason. After the whole veao saga, I thought all future modules had to hand the source code to ED so that didn't happen again? Now with so many people requesting refunds for the F15E, it's all looking very bad for the future of DCS as a whole and I'm surprised all concerned aren't feeling the pinch in sales and customer satisfaction. It's really not a good place to be and not keeping your consumer base in the know is the worst thing to do.

Got it. Tested last night and all back up and running. Appreciate your help Mav!

No, I've not changed it and it still says 10308 in the port box. My public Ipv4 address on "whats my Ip" is that same as the Ip address that my friends have within DCS. I'll try and grab one of them later to ping me

Cool, will do it now. Thanks for the prompt responce

Thanks for your help so far. Im in the port forwarding part of my router settings and its asking me to input an internal and external port start and end? What do I need to put in these boxes?
-
Again, I'm no good when it comes to this sort of thing. How do I know what the correct ip address is?

Looking for help, I've been hosting a private server for a group of friends recently but since lastnight we've been having connection issues. They can't see my server on the list and if they try to connect via IP, they get a message saying my server is offline. We can all connect to other public servers like 4ya etc and I can connect to their servers. Can anyone help? I'm not very savy when it comes to network issues etc. I've tried turning off my antivirus firewall and real-time scanning but that didn't make any difference. Thanks

So is this due to a limitation with DCS rather than the actual jet?

Recently listened to a 10 percent true podcast with starbaby (ex SE wso) and he said they used to regularly carry 2 Aim9s 2 Aim120s 2 Aim7s 2 Tanks And 2 GBU10s. Surely they only way you can carry all that is to have the gbu10s and Aim7s on the lower CFTs? Is there other any way you can have this load out?
