Right, I think I have it sorted now. It was an issue with Nvidia CP. I had changed the global settings as suggested here and got a marginal improvement. The issue was the for some reason, the Nvidia cp settings on the dcs game tab where way different and I believe that's what was causing the pants performance. I'm now at about 45 fps in high settings in the nttr. Now to upgrade my Ram to reduce the loading times lol Thanks for all your help guys and gals

So I've followed all these settings in Nvidia CP and in dcs and now get around 20-30 fps. Any other ideas on what can be going on because this still doesn't seem right to me?

To be honest, I don't know if dsr is enabled off the top of my head. It certainly would.explain a few things. I'll check once I'm home.

The test I've been running are on the up to date 2.1 on nttr. But I have 1.5 also but I've not run it yet.

I've just realised my pc spec in my signature block hasn't been updated. I've got it as i7 4790k at 4ghz but I've currently got it overclocked @4.6ghz.

Knock-knock, that's exactly what I thought. I guess I need to play with settings and reduce my res. I was just taken back that I was getting the same fps at low settings that I was getting at high settings. It just doesn't make logical sense. My monitor was still refreshing at 60hz at low settings. I'll check Nvidia drivers later but I'm sure they are up to date. With my current setup, I figured I shouldn't have major problems with fps.

Hi all. So I've taken the plunge into 4k. Just bought a acer predator 32 inch 4k monitor. I love it. However, my fps have dropped as expected to around 14 fps but the strange thing is, even after dropping all my settings to minimum, I'm still only getting 14 fps. My previous settings were all high at 1920x1080. Any ideas why with the reduced settings I'm not gaining any fps?

Agreed, I believe the KA50 does need a little love. It's not like it's creating a new module. Just adding some bits and polishing up what's already there.

Ok, so I got it working. tried on 1.5 for comparison. It tracked at about 3km. this was on the instant action shooting range miz. In 2.1, again in the instant action miz, it tracked at 2.5km but im guessing that is due to the time of day as it looked dawn/duskish. thanks for the help guys

Hi all, not played ka50 for a while but got back into it yesterday. I noticed when I go to lock a target on the shkval, the target box doesn't lock. I seem to remember from when I last played it, when you lock a target, the target box would slightly dance around on the target and id get a TA appear on the display. Now I click to lock target and can fire a missile but I can still move the target box. Any one have any ideas on why it's not locking and tracking the target?

I've just an Amazon delivery of 2 200mm fans and a corsair H100i v2 which will be installed as soon as I get home from work. So I'll be overclocking later tonight. So will see what effects that has.

I think there is a certain amount of truth in what Microvax said about 2.0 handling my setup better. I'm getting far better fps in 2.0 than I am in 1.5 with exactly the same settings in both.

Ok, I'll give it a go and report back. On a side note, if 2.0 is better at rendering as you say, I'm assuming when the new Caucasus map is released it'll be coded as 2.0 is now, thus being better than it's current incarnation?

So after running some tests. My fps vary between 15 and 60 even after lowering some settings. Can anyone think of any reason for the poor performance?

Still on win7. Just installed 381.78 to see if I have any improvement.

So I just used ddu (display driver uninstall) and now reinstalling new dru. Can someone recommends what is the best driver for the 1080ti. Ie if there is a more stable version than the lastest?

That was in 1.5. It's running at 1920x1080 on a 60hz Sony tv with vsync off. I'll check which drivers are installed but I know when I booted up with the new gpu 1st time it installed new drivers automatically.

Hi all, so I installed my new GTX 1080Ti and have been testing in dcs. There has been an improvement fps wise compared to my old card, a GTX 970. However, I'm only really averaging about 50-60 fps and when I got into the spirit cockpit, fps dropped to 14. All my settings at pretty much on max. My setup is as follows..... i7 4790k @ 4.0ghz Asus z97 pro 16 gbs corsair vengeance 2400mhz GTX 1080Ti Dcs installed on Samsung 850evo Surely I should be seeing much higher fps??

Hi all, I didn't see this post until after I updated the open beta yesterday (31/3/17). What do I have to do?

A friend and I have recently been having problems seeing each others servers in multiplayer. Never used to have a problem with this. We can both join other public servers but just can't see each others. Public server is checked. With or without a password makes no difference. Tried connecting through iP and port but no joy, just get a connection interrupted message. I always turn off my anti virus etc before I go online in game. Any help would be greatly appreciated
