Hi all. I find the DCS Options/Control menu really hard work . In fact it is is putting me off flying DCS. I just flew BOS where I have 6 planes to fly. In COD I fly 5 planes. I just started with a basic template in each. Modifed it easily for the particular plane..For example,in COD Prop pitch Controls 109/spitfire are reversed so I just Name one "Spit" profile and the other "109" profile. Now back to DCS. The more Planes I purchase,the bigger the headache gets for me. I cant Create a Persistant Profile for DCS. I have to start with every plane Delete/Scroll left/right/Bind up and down and then do it all again. I find "open Canopy" in Dora is "Left Shift C" and in Sabre I jettison the Canopy from the same binding. So now back to the Sabre Controls to change it. I find the DCS Options Menu Frustrating. How are newcomers from WT or BOS going to cope with it ? I hope ye can see this as a conctructive Rant ~S~

Backers page works well. Within 20 mins, I have got my key, downloaded the Dora,upgraded Dcs World and Sat in the Amazingly Detatailed Cockpit. Well Done ED ! ~S~

Hi all. I am struggling with the controls menu. What Id like to do is make a Template covering all the functions common to all aircraft(Flaps,Zoom,etc. and then change it suit each aircraft I fly. At the moment it looks like I have to bind every key,clear every axis and do this for Every aircraft in DCS. Any help would be appreciated ! ~S~

Hi all ! With the release of the Sabre and the Soon to be Released(:smilewink:) DCS WW2 im going to reinstall DCS soon. I already have Steam Installed its no biggie to use steam.Here are my question lads..Is there any advantage for me or the Devs by me installing through Steam ?..Are DCS WW2 backers going to be able to Download from Steam ? Would I be better off just doing a Standalone DCS Installation ? ~S~

at the $40 level, a hard copy of the game’s air combat strategy and tactics manual, and copies of aircraft manuals for flyable aircraft in the game. And now I'm not getting that? Not happy at all. It's not financially attainable for you to meet the backer rewards system? You shouldn't have allowed RRG to go ahead with the Kickstarter then. Not happy one bit. :furious: Go to Steam or EB games with those demands and see what you get for $40... Here is how I see it...The only chance for DCS WW2 to survive now is HERE.. I want DCS WW2 to Survive. I really don't want to post this next statement but I feel I have to ,to answer your "Gripe". I put more than $500 dollars into KS...I suspected Luthier would "Balls it up" and he did. So what are "We" left with ? INMHO,the very LAST attempt at anyone(in their "Commercial" right mind) trying to Produce and Sell a WW2 Sim. This is not a time to be Demanding any thing....I don't hold anyone to my KS Pledge...KS Died with Luthier. I don't want tee-shirts,Spiral Bound anything. I just want DCS WW2 to Survive.

First off WE don't know the circumstances of Luthiers Departure. As for Luthier being a "waste of time" !... I would have agreed with you 3 years ago when I was "Frustrated" with the state CLOD was released. Look at CLOD today. It is (IMHO) the best WW2 Sim available in 2014. Thanks to TF ~S~...Show me any Sim that depicts the BOB like CLOD does ? It was Luthiers Creation (unfinished). Next, Luthier was at it again. DCS WW2 and KS were announced !..I Pledged straight away. I am not really surprised by this announcement. I am not worried about "Where my $ have gone"...Luthier is bit like some of the famous artists with "incredible talent" that we all know from history.They never got to see their "Creation" succeed. Is Luthier a good Buissness man ? NO....A "waste of time " for the Flight Sim Community....NO. Again, someone has to finish what Luthier started !..And they were probably left with a "Mess"....Its up to us Simmers to tell the "incumbants' that we will financially support them in cleaning up the mess and delivering "luthiers" passion to our Screens. Footnote...Every SIM that Dies is a Nail in the Whole "Simming Communities Coffin". ~S~
