Wow I had no idea what the score was with all the action going on! The Viggen and the prize money is the icing on the cake in what was an incredibly fun event. As a sign of my appreciation, please accept the prize money as a donation for the server upkeep. I plan to donate the Viggen to bring a new member to the DCS community since I already have the Viggen. Mav & IronMike, thanks again for organizing this. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy these events and appreciate how much the 104th & 51st has done to build a strong DCS community. Also, Hook’s contribution to the community is incredible. He has such a gift for speech. Same with Stuge. Anyways, the MVPs were definitely Wizard and Omny. Managed to obliterate ground targets within a small window. Unreal! Those two are worth a nuclear ballistic missile. Thanks again for a fantastic Red Flag and looking forward to flying with “Group 3” (Coxy, Veritech, Panda, Horaz) more in future online events. Any chances for 70s or 80s Red Flag?  I know some would like to see more merges. Maybe even Gazelle A-A tournament lol. S!

You need to first open the cover for the jettison button. I usually first press Right Alt + Right Control + J first to open the cover, then press Right Alt + Right Shift + J to jettison the tank.

Guys, Can we stay on topic here? DCS vs. FC3 discussion could go on endlessly. Flanker wrote an excellent AAR and should be thanked for taking the time to do so. Btw, did respawning after landing and coming to a complete stop count as a loss? During the match briefing, Hook said that would be ok.

Hey guys, Sorry for being MIA. I was on a long holiday and just came back today and just finished dealing with some legal matters. Tiger, thanks for mentioning me. I would like to participate as a lonewolf but I am 100% OK with being a reserve as my participation on Saturday is uncertain.

Yes, there are several training missions and they are very well done.

Lonewolf TurboRUSH Airframe TBD (Are mixed airframes allowed within the squadron? Willing to fly F-15, Su-27, M2000, F-5 or Mig-21) Ramsey's F-5 vs. Mig-21 match will be on the same day. Is there going to be any conflict or overlap? Thanks for setting this up!

OR use the F-5 the way the North Vietnamese uses their Mig-21s. Hit and run, ambushes, or drag the energy fighter into furballs :D How ironic that would be.

Thanks for the insight Zooker and Ramsey. I missed the 1st 15 minutes of the stream so I may have missed the big picture. Team Tiger flew very well considering how new the module is on top of it being a full fidelity DCS module with a steep learning curve. I didn't expect an outcome too different from Sunday. Besides the energy advantage of the Mig-21, the 51st guys are aliens when it comes to teamwork and the Mig 21 module has been around for a while for people to get really familiar with.

Suggestion for future matches: 1.) No AWACS/GCI but impostors on 2.) Mixture of air frames: mirage 2k + f-5 vs. Mig-21 + Mig-29 or korean war jets mixed in with mig-21and f-5 3.) Matches on Nevada terrain Couple of things I noticed from Team Tiger: 1.) Drop tanks: considering the short distances between airbases, why were they used on the F-5s? I haven't flown the F-5 yet so I don't know what the fuel consumption is like. With hindsught, would it have been better to go lighter with less fuel for better maneuverability and acceleration? 2.) Noticed quite a few tiger pilots forgot to jettison drop tanks prior to combat 3.) Why did team tiger elect to not use the mountainous terrains to the east? Ramsey also noticed that during the stream. Thank you to all the participants for one of the most eagerly anticipated matchups.

Good to hear that there are plans for TG4. I'm out next weekend and will miss TG3. For future competitions, will there be F-86 vs. Mig-15 or other airframes?

It was my first time flying with Sweeper and it was a great honor. Superb leadership and patience. Definitely deserves the recognition.
