Guys,the skin will be a part of the official update, credits go to Matija Huzjak for creating it..I was told that for legal reasons the skin must not be shared outside the clan, not even the screenshots I posted are not allowed (did not know that honestly) because there is a contract between LNS and Matija. Therefore the skin is actually copyright protected. The skin on the NOB mrcine clan site was not supposed to be accessible to everyone...that was a mistake on their part which they acknowledged. So..we will all just have to be patient till the update..this skin is also wip anyway...

Hey Czar66 great screenshots! May I ask if you use sweetfx and what settings because I really like the way the lights in the cockpit, hud and mfd glow?

Actually the cockpit is vibrating rather than the head..if you look outside you can see canopy shake but not the view outside itself..it stays calm.

I noticed the shaking effect also happening in level flight but those shakes are so subtle and apart (at least on my example and I left the default 100% cockpit shake level) that I thought that was a new feature and even got to appreciate the new effect as I imagined a real MiG would behave...but then again...I dont know if it is the deal..maybe some real world pilot input?

A question for the developers..since it is announced that in september the DCS 1.5 update will include the new edge engine, can we expect those lights to work when the update is applied or is this still held back for 2.0 release? Thank you in advance!

I agree...I even think this feature is essential for the imersion factor. And yes, Soganlug has an upward slope while Senaki has the downward slope..beginning of the runway is at 14 meters above sea level while the end is at 13. :)

Two of the biggest visual differences are the spine and nose section, this illustration shows it quite good: Btw..awesome work and detail on the skin!

I created a new mod, didn't know how to delete the uploaded file, updated everything except the file itself so I deleted the whole mod and created a new one...which failed to upload as I see right now so I have put up a Media fire link in the first post.

New cockpit textures waiting approvall on the official dcs world download section....as soon as available, first post will be updated! Now they really look much better!

Thank you! Yes I did use Sweetfx but my sweet fx settings are very very subtle in terms of color saturation or balance..actually I really only use it for bloom effect. I should also mention I have HDR normal turned on.
